Went recently with my husband and was very disappointed to find out they no longer had the mahi mahi on the menu. They definitely need to bring it back!
We ordered mozzarella sticks, catfish filets, and a catfish sandwich with sweet teas to drink.
The mozzarella sticks came with marinara sauce that was just in a little plastic sauce container like from McDonald’s with the foil ripped off the top and just set on the plate. Was definitely out of place being served on a nice plate. It would have been nicer to see marinara served in a small dip dish instead of straight out of a plastic disposable container it came in.
Overall, service was good, and the food tasted good, but prices are a little high. $60 for the portions we got just didn’t seem reasonable and the sweet teas were almost $4 each, with mozzarella sticks and plastic marinara container was almost $10.

This is the best hidden gem in Evansville, Indiana! The prices and quality are amazing. The shrimp and grits are very tasty and something different! The staff is welcoming and helpful too!

Restaurants are changing different owners different people cooking the food different menu's. I was not happy going to Catfish Willy's this time. We ordered 3 things and paid online only to find out after paying that they did not have to of the things we ordered. We paid 56 dollars for 3 things and they gave 2 substitute items that were cheaper than the original 2 items we ordered with no refund. Then I decide to eat lunch and take advantage of the 10 lunch menu which is only dine in. So i order the 10 dollar fish tacos and 10 dollars grill catfish sandwich. Then I ordered a cocktail to try which was 8 dollars and a sprite which was 4 dollars. So the waitress brings out double order of fish tacos and a Catfish sandwich. I only ask for one order. So she is like I am sorry do u just want to take the orders and i am like on a 5 dollar discount half price. She is like they will not go for that. I am like, fine, I did not order double order fish tacos. GREEDY! The lunch came to 36 dollars, and i left and 5 dollar tip. It will be awhile before I go back.

Nothing to recommend. First of all, their water has a smell to it & a very irony taste. I knew I was in trouble when the water wasn't even fresh. CFW is just another dirty, hole in the hall place that is overly priced. The fish at CFW was really cooked well & it was fresh. However, my 1 piece of catfish was not worth $23. The wings were so very salty that it burned the roof of my mouth (I'm a creole woman who enjoys seasoning). I couldn't get past eating 1 wingette! I had to peel the rest of the breading off to eat it. They do not serve whole wings but wing pieces (wingettes). The fries were regular frozen fries. Nothing fresh. Take me advice: GO TO JOURNEYS! JOURNEYS IS DELICIOUS & THEY SERVE WHOLE WINGS!
