I just have to let the cat out of the bag. I have ordered the 14ounce Ribeye my last two trips. It has been perfect both times, in preparation, tenderness, juicy, plus flavor. Definitely will be anxious to order again SOON.

Fish under cooked out of some items. But service was great.

Had the chicken pot pie. Did so based on having had it at a different Cheddar's location and it was great. At the Evansville location it was nothing compared to the one had in Kentucky. Plus, it arrived at the table in less than a minute of ordering while we were still eating our salads. Top layer crust was not flaky as before and was not done well. The first rolls were very good so we ordered more and the second order arrived under done and not warm. Caesar salad had so much dressing on it we requested a little more lettuce. Still too much dressing. Service was okay. The waitress had a little bit of an attitude which she did readjust intermittently. However, we were not made to feel overly welcome or respected... It was a bit tense. Just disappointed as this trip did not compare to other visits to other Cheddars. Overall it was okay.

My steak had to be returned to the kitchen 3 times for doneness. Terrific waitress. Other food was just fine. Like their selections.

No problem with the food or service received while there, however, I accidentally left my hat behind. I called them and was told they had it and would hold it for me to come pick up. When I went to pick it up, I was told they didn’t have it and it “must have gotten stolen.” While this is not the end of the world, it is pretty concerning about their security, standards and employees. Do they not have cameras they can check? They acted like it was no big deal that someone’s personal item was stolen while they were supposed to be holding it for pickup

Update... restaurant wasn't full but 8 of us were crowded around a small table with no room for food. Dishes weren't picked up so we had to put things on neighboring empty tables.

More like Cheddar's Crap Kitchen. Food wasn't any good. Service was mediocre. Had to wait 45 minutes even though we called ahead, greeter made up excuses as to why that happened. Bathrooms were disgusting, seating area where we were placed was freezing.

We went to cheddars on Green River Rd., Thursday the 21st 2024 we were seated at a dirty table with dirty seats so we moved to another table that was also not clean so we got it cleaned off. they were cleaning tables on the other side of where we were sitting , our waitress was sweeping under the tables and also using the broom to sweep the seats out ,what the heck! cleaning the floor and the seats with the same broom I don’t think so ! spray some sanitizer on the seat and clean them with a towel not the broom you swept the floor with . Not sanitary, if the health department saw that they would flip out ! what if someone walked in after being in a horse barn, and they swept the floor where their feet were and the seat as well with the same broom, which is what she did, and someone else came in and sat down ? first of all Croissants were not very good.
My wife ordered the sirloin and fried shrimp with coleslaw and baked potato, steak was salty, and the fried shrimp had too much cayenne pepper in it. as for my meal, I ordered the baked White fish with rice and mashed potatoes and we both ordered coleslaw with our meals. My fish was so salty that it almost wasn’t fit To eat. Also, the coleslaw was aged. It was too old! not fresh. You can tell fresh coleslaw. This was not good, Neither one of us ate it . all in all the place was not very clean. The food was not good. Not for the money you pay. We will not eat there again. I wouldn’t recommend going there to anyone. It cost us $51 for food that was not acceptable for a place like cheddars, who generally has a good reputation. things are so high anymore that when you spend money for something you want your money‘s worth , We have eaten at the Terre Haute cheddars, and it is way different from the one in Evansville! Very clean, very good service and excellent food.. You know it’s easy to complain about something but if your food is good, you’ll say it’s good ,if your food is not good you’re gonna leave a bad review. Heads up ! managers of cheddars on Green River Road . :-(
