Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

I usually LOVE Cheddars! They have a killer family deal for around $30 that comes with a huge pan of chicken tenders with a large cup of dipping sauce. It also comes with your choice of 2 family-sized sides and 6 croissants. Thats my go-to pickup order. My husband and I were the only ones eating, so we just chose separate meals. Both of our meals this time around were not good at all. I only ate my sides (had to toss most of the country fried steak), and my husband didn't finish his favorite pasta dish (which never happens). I love cheddars, but had a disappointing last visit.

Last week was my first time going there as a date with my bf very beautiful inside and elegant food was pretty good and worth it loved their strawberry lemonade the most will be back in the future

I've eaten at several Cheddar locations and have always been pleased with the food. That ended when we decided on dinner at this particular Cheddar's. It was not good at all. Our server was great, but the food was not. I gave this location 3 stars because of the waitress.

I just have to let the cat out of the bag. I have ordered the 14ounce Ribeye my last two trips. It has been perfect both times, in preparation, tenderness, juicy, plus flavor. Definitely will be anxious to order again SOON.

Fish under cooked out of some items. But service was great.

Had the chicken pot pie. Did so based on having had it at a different Cheddar's location and it was great. At the Evansville location it was nothing compared to the one had in Kentucky. Plus, it arrived at the table in less than a minute of ordering while we were still eating our salads. Top layer crust was not flaky as before and was not done well. The first rolls were very good so we ordered more and the second order arrived under done and not warm. Caesar salad had so much dressing on it we requested a little more lettuce. Still too much dressing. Service was okay. The waitress had a little bit of an attitude which she did readjust intermittently. However, we were not made to feel overly welcome or respected... It was a bit tense. Just disappointed as this trip did not compare to other visits to other Cheddars. Overall it was okay.

My steak had to be returned to the kitchen 3 times for doneness. Terrific waitress. Other food was just fine. Like their selections.

No problem with the food or service received while there, however, I accidentally left my hat behind. I called them and was told they had it and would hold it for me to come pick up. When I went to pick it up, I was told they didn’t have it and it “must have gotten stolen.” While this is not the end of the world, it is pretty concerning about their security, standards and employees. Do they not have cameras they can check? They acted like it was no big deal that someone’s personal item was stolen while they were supposed to be holding it for pickup

Update... restaurant wasn't full but 8 of us were crowded around a small table with no room for food. Dishes weren't picked up so we had to put things on neighboring empty tables.
