I’ve been coming here for years and sadly I do think the quality is not what it once was. I ordered last night. Sweet and sour chicken. Got home and there was no sweet and sour sauce. Extremely frustrating. So basically I had chicken tenders. Also my egg drop soup had a couple of egg shells in it. Very gross. I was disappointed.

I ordered my food going off of experience from other diners little that I know that this was gonna be the worst food that I have ever had in my life. I ordered the seafood delay and the only seafood that I got from that was hard disgusting food that not even my dogs would touch. I ordered the pork spicy pork thing and it was hard and tasted like rubber. Why are you gonna advertise so well when you can’t even live up to your advertisements this place is a joke. Don’t come here unless you wanna waste your money.

I have eaten take out from China King for years, perhaps 9. The staff is great. I can eat great and perhaps have left overs if I don’t completely eat all for the meal with savings.

I recently ordered from this Chinese restaurant and had a frustrating experience from start to finish. I called ahead and asked for something to be removed from my order, but the man on the phone acted like he couldn’t understand what I was saying. Strangely, when I got there in person, he suddenly had no problem understanding and quickly removed it—so it felt like he just didn’t want to deal with me over the phone. The whole vibe was rude, dismissive, and rushed like I was bothering them just by placing an order.
And I’m not trying to sound disrespectful or racist in any way, but communication is key—especially when you’re running a business in America. If you can’t understand your customers or make the effort to, then maybe that line of work—or even living here long-term—might not be the right fit. On top of all that, the food was cold, bland, and lacked any real flavor. It was a big letdown. Between the service and the quality, I won’t be going back. There are too many other spots that actually care.

China King, the #1chinese restaurant in Evansville! I’ve eaten at every 1, all over the city & surrounding areas, yet I ALWAYS come back to CK. Excellent quality food, great value for the price/amount, fast service and they even accept personal customizations! Seriously, I cannot recommend China King enough and if you haven’t tried it yet I highly suggest that you do :)

Called and ordered Miso Soup because my wife was sick and it's her go-to meal when she doesn't feel well. They said it would be five minutes, five minutes go by, I go to pick it up, and it's not ready. I wait in the inside for 20 minutes before getting the worst-tasting miso soup my wife or I have ever eaten. It was cold and needed to be reheated, and was WAY too expensive to justify it's cost, even if it had been good. I cannot imagine that this place is anything other than a money-laubdering scheme with lots of fake, simple reviews to drown out the bad ones.
(This happened a year ago, and apparently I forgot to ever post the review. Drove by today and wife reminded me of the experience)

I haven't dined in the restaurant, however I have gotten delivery twice in the past two days from them using DoorDash. It's always been speedy and their crab rangoon is amazing! And I'm picky about crab rangoon. It's a little sweet but in a good way and perfectly crunchy! Their egg rolls are huge and delicious as well. I'm excited to continue trying their food. I definitely recommend it!
