Appetizers were fabulous, goat cheese bites and white bean hummus with pesto. After we ordered the waitress came back and said they were out of salmon. So we ordered the shrimp and grits. The shrimp were small and overcooked. They were very chewy, the sauce had a nice flavor. The steak and grits that the rest of the table ordered was very gristly. The waitress was delightful, but the main courses were underwhelming.
the food tasted amazing, the staff was very friendly, the ambiance was true to the name, and the price is fair for the quality of food you receive! The family loved it while we were there. The only issue we had just happened to be a big one. Somewhere a stated allergy restriction wasn't properly adhered to.
I just had my first visit, and it was fantastic! I tried the pork belly tacos, which were incredibly tasty—though the outer crispiness surprised me a bit. My boyfriend ordered the steak, and I have to say, it was one of the best we've ever tasted! While I didn’t finish my meal since it wasn’t quite my favorite, the lovely waitress noticed and generously offered me a piece of cake on the house. How thoughtful!
