It was a cute little place and the food was delicious. Something for everyone. We were there around 10:30 a.m. and no problems getting breakfast or lunch. Pictures are of Deep Fried Funnel cake and Cast Iron Heaven (bread pudding) which both came with eggs and meat.
We are from Tennessee (natives, not transplants)... this was the best southern food from the north we ever ate. I got dark meat fried chicken with fried okra, a side salad and a baked potato. The fried chicken, okra and baked potato were delicious. The baked potato was small but fresh and the skin had salt and seasoning on it. The fried chicken was not over or under cooked. Small place with a homey feel to it, but still able to get a seat with no wait. Nice variety of options on the menu with a home cooked meal theme. Generous portions, the country fried chicken was huge. Big selection of side dishes. Friendly server. Was a very good meal.
