We stopped here while passing through, and it was fantastic! We tried the fried chicken and country fried chicken both were delicious. Our sides included German fries, fried okra, fried cabbage, mashed potatoes, and asparagus, and everything was full of flavor with generous portions. The cornbread was wonderful too. On top of that, our server was very friendly, making the whole experience even better.
Yes it's an old established, but they serve good home cooking. We stopped in with 8 people and it took longer than expected to get served. They were nearly empty. The food was good and the portions could easily be shared. Go to this local restaurant.
Excellent little restaurant in Evansville. We visit them every time we visit this charming town. We had 2 amazing dinners from their all-day-breakfast menu. Personal attention from its owner made this last visit extra special.
