45 class reunion was taken care of with perfection.

I’ve loved this place for more than 2 decades; it was one of my all-time favorite places to eat. The chicken piccata is my favorite dish, but I’ve never had anything from DiLegge’s that disappoints! I preferred eating in the restaurant for the intimate atmosphere, but getting food to-go was just as tasty.Unfortunately it looks like they’re only open for private parties & events or catering now. If I ever have an occasion to utilize those options, I certainly will. But until then, I will hold tight to the happy memories I have (and long for the their delicious dishes). Wish I could get my hands on their recipes!

Food is pretty good, and I would’ve given this place 4 stars if it weren’t for what I saw while I was there. Waited 15 minutes to be seated first of all. While I was waiting I witnessed who I believe to be the the owner, hang up on for different people waiting on the phone lines. Then proceed to laugh about it with two people at the bar. This place gave me some real kitchen nightmares vibes and I did not like it.

We walked in and were told to sit anywhere. When we selected a table, we were informed that one was in fact reserved. Our server proceeded to not bring menus but ask what we wanted to eat and when we ordered our entrees is when we were also asked about beverages. She didn’t know either of the items off the menu we ordered, nor the wine. After ordering, my husband received his salad, which consisted of almost exclusively the core of the lettuce. 45 minutes passed before we finally got our food, which seemed to have been sitting for a while and started to get cold. We also had to ask for our bread, but that happened as the server was bringing the check because that was the next time we saw her.All in all, we left the restaurant displeased with the service and still quite hungry because of the low food quality. Will not return.

Place was alright. But this is the second time I have found HAIR in food! I gave the benefit of the doubt, but after round two, of pulling hair out of my mouth and on the first bite too I’m beyond disappointed. The owner Dan runs one hairy business. Beware!

We visited for dinner last night. The place was packed and most of the tables that were empty were clearly set for reservations. However even as walk-ins, they went out of their way to find us a table. The place was completely full but our appetizers and meals came our very quick. The lasagna was amazing! The staff is very friendly... Honestly amazing how well they handled a full restaurant so well. Highly recommend!

Wow, well, where do I start? After being recommended as one of the top,Italian restaurants in Evansville by the vaunted local newspaper (Courier & Press), we decided to try this place out. My bride and I ordered wine and dinner. Here is the review: 1. No wine list, ergo, no variety or,options. Wine was served in 6 ounce glasses. Really? Is this a restaurant or business class in an airplane? Give the customer the choice! 2. Ordered the Insalata salad. If you like excess dressing you would love it. Otherwise, to so much. 3. One hour later when we were served (!) we experienced a continuation of less than average food. The Chicken Alfredo was poor. Chicken was tough and the Alfredo sauce lacked full flavor. The meat sauce was sweet, which by itself is not necessarily bad; however, I prefer less sugar. The meatball that accompanied it was good. The garlic bread was ok; however,I prefer more garlic. The waitress was very nice. Unfortunately, she had little support.

This is the nastiest Italian I’ve ever had. Way over priced- I ordered to go.. I think it was the 5 cheese stuffed ravioli.. it was in a little tin foil to go container, opened it as soon as I got to the car and it was ice cold, it certainly was not 5 cheeses (looked like 1 cheese maybe ricotta), the sauce tasted like garbage, there were only like 2 or 3 tiny “stuffed” shells in the container.. and every person I talked to from ordering to pick up was rude..like a 12$ dish and it was gone in two bites. Looked like some left overs they boxed up ?‍♀️ DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Wonderful little Italian restaurant with great service. Food is fresh and fantastic. Our kids love the spaghetti and so do I. Crab stuffed mushrooms with Alfredo is my favorite. Perfect atmosphere. Consider making reservations on weekends.

This was my first visit even though I've lived here 24 years! The menu has plenty of choices for vegetarians and the meal was tasty. But most of all, I was made to feel very welcome and catered to by our server, Eileen H. She's a gem. I will definitely be back to try other menu items and enjoy the friendly service.
