Awesome place. Angel is one of the best bar managers in the industry. Franklin Street Tavern is lucky to have her. Great bartenders. Owners are engaged to ensure customers are well cared for, and the place is always looking good.

Absolutely the best old school tavern on the Westside of Evansville. Always have a beer special running. Pizzas are about the best tavern pizza you'll ever have.

Begged to go & share the competition of man here my entire life. Low places bar. Nice draft prices. Mid stop before Last Call for The Young Buck Club of Evansville. Might want to take a breather in here or hook up with the rest of your Krewe in here. Interesting subjects in here are had- poetic to all. Congrats! Upgrade Historical properties always get my Vote! One of the most trashy bars in Evansville. Apparently a female manager fought and punched a female customer. It was caught on video that a friend of mine showed me. Me and my sister and friend went there for a few drinks and the manager who was drunk…reminder the security even said she’s rude when she drinks. She try to fight my sister cause my sister was having a casual conversation with the security. She approached my sister with aggression and as we were leaving cause of how psycho her behavior was, she threw bar stools across the bar. Security didn’t even try to calm their “manager” down or protect our safety. I don’t recommend coming here. Security’s are a joke, management is a joke probably one of the worst bars to go to in Evansville. Don’t waste your time!
