The last few times me and my husband have been in for dinner the service has been very unprofessional. Instead of serving us the server was outside and sometimes no where to be found. We have been coming here for years and the service in the evening time has really went down. Very disappointing.

I would like to preface this by saying that I have very fond memories around the Hilltop Inn. Recently the food and service have gone downhill. I was there recently, and the restaurant was dirty. There were a bunch of flies on the front windowsill. Salad bar had day old sour tomatoes. Our table was sticky too. I do not recommend this restaurant

We went and there no brain sandwiches, which were for some reason you weren’t put on the menu to tell us that it wasn’t there. Our eggrolls were burnt. Our food was cold. My Burgos was gross. My salad was terrible. Overall the food was very, very, very bad if you can go to any place do not go there. Jason‘s deli got better food place, other restaurant for that matter entire city of Evansville

LISTEN. I'm not from Evansville or even Indiana, BUT the food in this place is outstanding. I read reviews of how this took too long or that took too long.... STOP. They cook TO ORDER. You want fresh then that's what YOU GET. A pork brain sandwich takes AT LEAST 20 min to cook FRESH. Ok? Local restaurant local cooks and local service. It's a great place to come and wind down and relax. No one turns a head because you're not local/neighborhood. Please just be patient AND tell them EXACTLY how you want your meal or sandwich. They WILL comply. Great job guys I will always be happy with your food and service!
