I've been trying to place an order to go and I can never get anyone on the phone to order. I either get a busy tone or get an infinite ring. Every single time has been within their listed business hours. I tried contacting them on Facebook to confirm their hours and I was left on read by them. On top of that, I even tried going in the restaurant where people pick up their orders to go to try to place an order that way and every single employee in there just flat ignored us. I was really wanting their food, because the times I did get it, it was amazing, but at this point I just give up if they don't want the business.

I've been going here since I was 20 years old. I'm 37. I still go at least once a month. Not only is the food the best Japanese food I've found anywhere outside of PA/NY but the other patrons that have been going for years always makes it feel like home. I've had Japanese food from San Fran, CA to Philly, PA and I haven't had such an authentic taste and feel as I do when I step into Iwataya!

Everything is always fresh, and the quality is top-notch. They make a mean Agedashi Tofu, and the Grilled Yellowtail Collar is wonderful, especially for a place nowhere near the sea. Prices are quite reasonable for the type and quality of food offered. If you're looking for hibachi or Americanized food, this ain't it. This is the good stuff. ;) amazing

We sat in traditional Japanese style seating (shoes off and sitting at table). They also have tables and chairs. This was very relaxing. My spouse got a ginger chicken bento box and I got the katsumiso and one with temporary soft shell crab. All the food tasted really good! I will come back and try other items on their menu. The staff was very friendly. Their menu has both Japanese and descriptions if what is in each roll. I also appreciated the pictures of what each item looks like.

The restaurant is owned by real Japanese people. Best sushi I have ever had! It came out fresh and tasted amazing. When you walk into the restaurant it’s eye catching decor will make you realize you’ve selected the right place to eat. They were full of patrons tonight so service was a bit slower but they also took care to make the sushi to perfection! My drink was always refilled before I ran dry. Overall it’s an experience you have to try once!

Amazing out-of-the-way place (near the airport) with a great selection of food. I had the katsudon (one of my favorite Japanese dishes) and it was ichiban. To top it off, the atmosphere was great.
