I’m a novice at Korean cuisine and a vegetarian. So it was a delight to find a restaurant where the staff could actually identify dishes that were vegetarian and even vegan. I had Jajangmyeon with a rolled omelette as a side and tteokbokki. All were superb. Better than anything I ate at Korean restaurants in the DC area. Thank you for bringing another superb international experience to Evansville!

We have been to jumak several times. Most of the time we dine in. Today was different as we ordered carryout. We ordered Korean BBQ fried chicken with 1 side. We didn't receive the side nor sauce on the chicken. We were told there was a 30 minute wait but waited over an hour. They weren't busy at the time. There were 4 people eating in the restaurant. I'm not sure if we will be back at this point. A 25 minute drive home does not end well when discovering half your order is incorrect and missing. I do take partial responsibility for not pulling everything out of the bag and thoroughly checking it. Technically I shouldn't have to. Especially after spending $40 for 2 items.

The food was fresh and very good. My daughters and I were very happy with everything we ordered. I especially enjoyed the K-fried chicken. So crispy and flavorful. We all enjoyed the Korean hotdogs as well. Friendly and helpful service. Highly recommend.

Today is December 9, 2025. We walked in at 7:15 PM, well before their posted closing time of 8:00 PM. It was obvious they were waiting for the last two customers inside to finish their meals, and the moment those customers left, the staff immediately turned off the lights. We were walking out at the same time as the other two guests, and the staff didn’t even look at us or offer any explanation for why they were closing early. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. We will never be back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Solid traditional Korean food, large menu and well made. Korean fried chicken was very tumeric forward but the batter was crispy and delicious and with the sauce it was great. Kimbap with the bulgogi was some of the best we've had, and the Korean Hot Dog (corn dog) was a neat treat we've been looking to try.
Portions were big and reasonably priced for the size.

The food was delicious and the staff there were so kind! We could tell it was freshly made, everything was so hot and delicious. The prices are very fair for how much food you get! I got the Korean cheese dog and it was so yummy and crunchy. My boyfriend got the Korean fried chicken with white rice and kimchi, he loved it, I tried it and it was also delicious! We could tell it was quality chicken. Most everything was served in metal dishes so it all stayed very hot too, which I appreciate. We definitely will be back!

Ok this was my first time here and I will most definitely return. The food here is just delicious. The folks working in here which I assume are owners were awesome with their customer service. She made great menu recommendations that were spot on. This place is easy to find using Google Maps. There is plenty of free parking.
