In my opinion the best sushi in Evansville at the best price. Kanpai has been our Christmas dinner for about the last 10 years, everyone always looks forward to sushi, fried rice, and crab rangoon for Christmas dinner.

Kanpai was our favorite restaurant of all time. The food is still amazing but the service has been so awful lately we won’t be going back. Servers glare at customers and never ask if you need anything. Food comes out so slow - upwards of 30 minutes. Our last order was the completely wrong item and when we told the server he just said “yeah” 4 times then walked away. 10 minutes later came back to ask what it was supposed to be. Took another 25 min for the correct kids meal. Never got the salad we ordered. Still charged for it because the server never came back. Last few times was bad, this time was awful. Will not be coming here again.
Ordered chicken w Kanpai salad and white rice. No salad, fried rice. Kids chicken nuggets, got chicken fried rice.

This place is very rude to doordash drivers...order not ready on time...and the drink they didn't even know what the customer wanted so they improvised with just a coke ... Very unprofessional attitude

this place is really going down hill had to wait forever for order to be ready at pick up while sushi was being made other food just sat out was cold I think you might need to hire more then one waitress the owner should be ashamed having one poor girl with no waitress skills and only one guy making sushi running this restaurant while I was waiting the girl had the phone off the hook
