I went out for breakfast with a few coffee buddies here. The food was really good. The coffee was ok. But overall, I would definitely recommend this

Went with a friend. Food was excellent. Service was great. We were seated within a few minutes of arrival but the folks who came after had a much longer wait. Was a bit disappointed that a variety of teas were offered on the website but when I ordered hot tea, was given Lipton's. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Mmmm such good food. I got the French toast and it was unreal. It was like a plump piece of bread and a cinnamon roll had a gorgeous tasty baby.

My first visit and breakfast was wonderful. Loved the German potatoes. It is a very small place. So you are sitting kind of close to the other patrons.

We love to just search for local, independent places to support when we are traveling. Today was no exception. Today we found Kite and Key in Evansville, Indiana while traveling. Stopped in on a Saturday morning and the place was packed! Always a great sign. We tried both coffee and a Latte and we both each had a different type of breakfast platter off the menu so we got to sample everything from biscuits, English muffins, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, eggs over easy and those wonderful German potatoes. We were seated at a table for 6 although there was only two of us. Forgot speak with the owner who was there working hard. Such a friendly fellow. The entire place was very welcoming! Another couple came in and they were seated at the other end of the 6 top we were at. Nice getting to chat and have breakfast with a couple we didn't even know. Food here was excellent and very reasonably priced!! We highly recommend for breakfast. Wish we could have stayed around and for the bread pudding we spotted on the menu!!!

Was told this place was pretty good for breakfast but don’t really feel like the wait was worth the food we got.. and also what we paid for, $62 including the tip for 3 people.. our kid was happy and enjoyed his meal but me and my boyfriend left unsatisfied.. server was okay but it was busy, crowded, and multiple tables that sat after us got their orders taken first and food first.

A couple friends and I met here for breakfast recently. We've eaten here before and really have always had a good experience. The restaurant is clean, the server helpful, and the wait time short. Choosing not to have a large breakfast, I opted for the Hearty Oats with fruit bowl. Unfortunately, I assumed the oats were unsweetened. My mistake. I should have asked them. They were good but way too sweet for me. We'll return because their food is good and the atmosphere is great for an early morning get together, but I will opt for one of their other breakfasts.

A great family diner. We will go again. It was slammed pack so we knew it was good but waited maybe 5 minutes. It was well worth the wait.

We were in town visiting family for Christmas and decided to spend our last morning together at the Kite & Key. We brought a large party including 5 children to this little establishment. Once we got our table, service was fast and friendly. All the staff were so kind and helpful with menu questions. Everything we ordered was delicious! Thanks!
