Lic's Deli & Ice Cream

went to lincoln ave tonight and order gourmet sub and the sandwich barely has even a slice of meat and 1 piece of lettuce and tomato

After years of going to LICS for shakes. they've decided to start selling 4 ounces of air at the top. The owner is confused or forgetting how shakes were made and will be saying that I shouldn't believe my lying eyes. He's also deleting my reviews. I purchased 3 shakes at DQ since.

I really enjoy the food and ice cream at Lic's, but the past few times I have gone, they are closed way before their hours have them listed as closing. I specifically searched the hours before driving there, they are listed as open, and i drive there only to find the door locked and the employee inside shook her head "no" at me to indicate they are not open. I really love this restaurant just wish the hours were accurate!! Only other negative i would say is the employees seem very indifferent in attitude and like you're inconveniencing them by being there and making them actually do their jobs. I really hope they correct these small issues because Lic's is a longtime local staple!

I hadn't been to Lic's in a while, but really wanted a shake tonight, and got a kiddie cup for my dog. Hardly any ice cream in the shake and not well blended. Giant french fry and clump of hair in the kiddie cup. This was the Weinbach and Washington location.

Cute little ice cream shop love the colors and old time feel. We were the only customers in the store. We ordered our waffle cones, I went to the restroom, my teenage son waited. I came back out, sat down. We sat for about 3 minutes. Then the girl behind the counter was like your cones are right there. They had been sitting on the counter (in a cone stand).... it was also almost $17 for 2 big waffle cones with a small amount of ice cream. Maybe that's why we were the only customers ?

Waited over 20 minutes at the Newburgh drive thru, was told “ the volume was turned down” really ?! Because the last thing I heard was “I’ll be with you in a few minutes” absolutely ridiculous.

Love the salad and everyone is always so kind!

If you ever get a milkshake expect it to be only 3/4

I don't live in Evansville anymore, but I always make sure to stop at Lics whenever I come home to visit! ?

Super cute shop with delicious food and ice cream! We had 3 gourmet subs which were delicious and the secret sauce is so good! Chili was good a little thin but very flavorful. Choco creme balls are addicting. Everything was reasonablly priced and the girls working the counter were so helpful! We'll definitely be back.

Food is crazy expensive for a little mom and pop shop. Deli meat is not good quality. You get a hand full of grippo chips as your side which come from a box that has about 100 servings in it. You will pay $2 plus dollars for that side and the entire box cost this place $5.00. Milk shakes are crazy expensive and purposely only filled 2 full inches from the top so remember when you get one it will only be half the size of the cup. They are also very watery. More like a chocolate milk consistency instead of a normal milkshake you get from anywhere else. They will make it thicker but that will be an extra charge for a thick shake which is the norm at all other places lol be warned.
