Lic's Deli & Ice Cream

Wow 😋 We were in from out of town and it was 9:30pm and suddenly I needed ice cream🍦🍦Saw that Lic's was less than two miles up the road, AND OPEN UNTIL 10:30!! We swing by and get a regular vanilla cone and the choco cream treats... So quick and they did not disappoint!! So good, I wish we lived closer so we could have these tasty treats all the time, 10/10, highly recommend!! Definitely get some good eats here

Paid $9 for a Turkey sub. Barely any meat and the lettuce was disappointing. Never going there for food again.

Lincoln Ave location.. Around 3/3:15p May 11th We ordered a chicken bacon RANCH sandwich. We had open the sandwich up and didn’t see any ranch at all. So she asked for ranch for her sandwich, They was going to charge us. So she came back to eat the dry sandwich, with hot sauce. I went up there and they Stated there was ranch on it, but maybe not enough for you to taste. They stated, They are just works there, and we would have to go higher up to make complaint. That’s not the way to do business

Every time I order a shake it's only half full 😩 I pay full price I want a full shake

The chicken soup was basically broth with a chunk of noodles that were disgusting to eat. Would not recommend. My husband got a burger, it was super bland.

Many choices of ice cream flavors and other desserts, price was reasonable per scoop, but the actual taste lacked. The flavor was weak and too many chunks of ice.

I’ve frequented Lic’s for pretty much my whole life. I have noticed a pretty big difference in quality and service over the past couple years. A few weeks ago I got a vanilla shake from the Lincoln location. It had absolutely no flavor, just tasted like thick milk. My husband agreed. Tonight I was craving a strawberry shake and I love their strawberry ice cream. I was very disappointed. The first couple sips I thought it just tasted like faint strawberry milk. Once I got home and could look inside I realized it wasn’t blended at all. There was a huge scoop of ice cream in the center with big chunks of mushy strawberries. It truly was not good.
I have really never had great service at a Lics either. The employees are nice enough, or don’t talk. Not what you want at an ice cream place. Another thing that drives me nuts is the slow drive thru. If you get stuck behind someone who ordered food, prepare to wait for 10-15 min. If someone ordered multiple food items, pull them forward and bring it out to them. That’s pretty standard for drive thrus.
