We ordered 10 lb. Of pulled pork for 23 people and it was wonderful. We had tons of leftovers and froze it. Also had potato salad,, pickles, onion, Buns and slaw. Their homemade pie is fabulous! It was all delicious and very reasonable.

I remember an experience I had once while in a deep woods. The memory is faint now, but the fear I experienced that night will never go away. I recall being on the edge of death. Bound to the trunk of a great elm, though I could see no rope or other physical restraints. Footsteps. Before me stood a creature too terrify to imagine. It stood on two legs. While its figure was human, it lacked a head. Rather its face was formed across its upper torso. It smile deviantly at me. It stood there for what seemed an eternity. It swung its arms front and back, offering a dull clap with each forward motion. Finally it approached. I winced. It took its hand, buried it into my jean pocket, and it took out a single, bare spare rib. It was from Marx Barbecue. I woke up the next morning at the Esquire Inn on Fares. My lady friend had something sizzling in the hot plate-- ham, from Marx Barbecue. I've never told anyone this story before. This is barbecue in the true Western Kentucky tradition. The original sauce is delicious. It's impacted by a lot of umami from the tomatoes . It's savory and bold. Not sweet. The pulled pork is great country barbecue. Prices are reasonable.
