Marx no longer serves hot food any longer. Was there Sunday the 29 of Sept and they told me the only way to get a soak was over at Hilltop. Hilltop is closed on Sunday. Had to get cold food and take it home. Back dining room was closed. No sit down eating anymore.Been going there for years and sitting down and eating my lunch. Sad, no more.
soaks are the bomb ribs are great and the burgoo is to die for

Marx BBQ catered my wedding & the food was delicious. We had fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, mac & cheese, corn, green beans & rolls. All of the food was hot, served well & every guest was given a large portion. I highly recommend Marx & their services.

How in the world is this place still open. I went in to get some BBQ Pork and they didn't have any but what was in packages in the cooler, really. Nothing fresh. I'll never be back.

We ordered pulled pork for the holidays, but was surprised their original BBQ sauce was basically tomato juice/sauce. Good thing we ordered it on the side anyway. The meat was good, but if you're looking for traditional BBQ sauce, this was not it.
