Neighborhood place that has all the basics with a Hispanic flavor profi. I ordered the chiliquiles and my wife ordered the pancake sandwich. While they were missing real maple syrup for the pancakes and French toast the food was great. The photo is the chiliquiles.

The restaurant was very clean , inviting and appealing. The staff was amazingly friendly and prompt. The menu had many options. Coffee was good and they were quick to refill. Food was delivered fast , but I feel it lacked flavor. We enjoyed it, but would say.. add some spice :)

Couldn't even wait to finish my meal to write this review. The service was excellent and everyone was super friendly! On top of that, the food was to die for!! We started off with guacamole and chips and the chef came out and made sure that he had made it just to our liking! I still can't get over the homemade chips that were served with the guacamole, they came out hot and fresh out of the oven. I then got an omelette with hash browns that unfortunately I couldn't finish but definitely had to take home for later. If you haven't gone to Mele's I HIGHLY recommend:)

This was a great stop to make to fuel up before we headed back home from a weekend trip in Evansville. The food was delicious and you get plenty of value for your money.The restaurant itself was nice and clean, and something that is a personal plus with me - plenty of choices for hot sauces!

Chilaquiles were awesome! Only drawback is they got soggy very quickly. Maybe have the chips on the side/separate? The pork was tender, the sauce was delicious, and the egg and avocado together did amazing things. Live elsewhere now, but Mele’s is definitely on my short list to come back to!

On a scale of 1-10, this place is a 20. My daughter and I stopped in for a quick breakfast bite. First, the food is a combination comfort food home style with a slight Mexican flare, and some great mexican dishes. I had waffles and scrambled eggs that were so flavorful I wanted to ask the cook for his secret. My daughter had a fajita plate that could easily feed two with a bit to share later. The atmosphere is warm and very friendly. Wear loose pants and COME HUNGRY!!
The food atmosphere and staff were all superb!! I had enough food for two meals.

Looks like a hole in the wall in a tiny strip center. Never mind. The food is outstanding and the service is great. Excellent sandwich. My husband got the biscuits and gravy and it was so good he ordered more biscuits to go. The menu also includes some Mexican specialties that looked yummy as well
