My husband and I had breakfast at Nellie's North this morning. Our server was Roberto. He was nice along with the rest of the staff. I ordered the loaded breakfast skillet with 2 pancakes. My husband ordered the Country fried steak breakfast with biscuits and gravy. It was all so very good. My favorite thing is the little things that add to the great meal. This restaurant has different types of flavored coffee creamers and sweeteners all on the table, which is excellent for me because when I drink coffee, I mix Irish cream, Hazelnut, and vanilla creamers in my coffee and then sugar and Splenda. The coffee was served in a stoneware coffee mug that was adorable! I loved this! Also, there was a bowl of butter and a big container of syrup, so this added to my amazing tasteful pancakes because I love lots of butter and syrup on my pancakes! The pancakes alone were so good and the syrup was so good too. They also had 2 types of hot sauce also! My favorite is the Cholula sauce! It's been a long time since I have had an excellent breakfast experience at a restaurant in Evansville and surrounding areas. Nellie's North in Evansville, IN is on my top list of excellent restaurant experiences with great food and cleanliness! Keep up your good quality food and good service, Nellie's North! It's the little things that make the difference! Five Stars! (I also bought a Nellie's coffee mug!)

went in for dinner today food was ok, but never seen waitress. could not get straw or even a napkin. Side salad came out with food, and never had anyone check on us. We did see our waitress a few tables over crying to another tabl. awful service

We've been there many times, the food is good, the servers are great. However, it's difficult to relax and have a nice meal when management is screaming at the servers. The 4th time it happened, we asked one of the servers who was screaming like that and they said the name was Paco.
Anyone who would scream like that at his help is very off-putting. We had a table of eight, and none of us will ever return because of this man. We've told anyone we can to not patronize a place that treats the employees in such a manner.
Seems like Paco needs anger management.

I normally have great service but today really bothered me. There was one sever and over eleven tables she was waiting on. While there were other employees walking around looking for something to do. I ordered a chef salad and I received a salad with all protein on missing. We waited an hour and 1/2 for our food. Really disappointed in the service today. I don’t blame the server she explained it was only her third day of work.

Tried for the first time today and was impressed with the quality and quantity of comfort food offered. The taste was great, and very reasonably priced! Located on 1st Avenue in the Wolf’s BBQ building on the north side of Evansville.
Although it’s a little bit out of the way - We’ll definitely be back!

I've been driving by waiting for the parking lot to not be completely full, arrived on Thurs at 8am, parking lot not packed. Was seated promptly. When going to the table noticed 4-5 servers hanging at the bar. Waited 10mins to get our drink order taken. It seemed only one server was working. She took our drink order as well as 4 other tables. Got our water and coffee (didn't have hot chocolate) Another 5 + minutes to get drinks. Finally placed our order, then waited for server to take the other 4 tables orders, all while the other servers at the bar were talking. I could have understood if it was a packed house, but half the restaurant was empty. I will admit I was a little hangry. I did ask the group of servers before leaving if it was normal for 1 server to take 5 orders all at once before putting any in, and asked to pay for my coffee. One did offer to take our order, at that point I was over it, and they said not to worry about paying for the coffee. I will just make to go orders in the future, the food is really good.
We had a party of around 25 for my Grandma's birthday on a Monday night. They sat us upstairs away from everyone else which was good since we were a little loud. The server was awesome. Somehow they brought out all of the meals together and everything was hot and good. I got the bone in pork chop and it was huge! It was grilled and done well. It was a little tough, but that's expected with it being about an inch thick. I also had garlic mashed potatoes and baked beans. The potatoes were really good with a lot of garlic. I'm not sure about the baked beans. They tasted like they had vinegar in them which was a surprise. Eating a bite with the bacon in them was much better. I would recommend them for supper. Also they have Coke Zero which is a plus for me.

I got the bone in pork chop and it was huge! It was grilled and done well. It was a little tough, but that's expected with it being about an inch thick.
