My best friend and I wondered into the food court at Eastland Mall and were greeted by a girl giving free samples of chicken teriyaki for her restaurant, Nori Japan. The sample was delicious, so we decided to give it try. They don't have a very large menu, which is most likely due to the small space in the food court. Basically, everything is a teriyaki dish and you choose what meat you want (chicken, beef, shrimp, maybe more) along with either rice or noodles. You can always add some veggies as well as crab-rangoon or spring rolls. I had the chicken beef and shrimp with noodles and my friend had the same 3 combos with rice and veggies. It was so good and the portions were huge. We were full and happy when we finished. The prices were fine and you get in and out quickly.

Do NOT eat at Nori Japan in the Eastland Mall. I gave them a shot and there was a black curly hair in my food. I politely asked them to make me another since I was only 3-4 bites into my plate. They asked me to see the hair but I had instinctively plucked it out and threw in on the ground already. They denied me and said “next time show me the hair and I refund you”. To which I said “there won’t be a next time.”

I didn’t want a refund..just a meal without a freaking pube in it. Spent $13 here and threw the food away. Should have stuck with BOURBON ST GRILL.

The crab rangoon and spring roll tasted amazing, while the teriyaki chicken could have used a bit more sauce. Price was very reasonable and the takeout process easy.

Gave me wrong order acted like it was my fault and then wanted me to wait on their mistake....guy was rude.will never eat there again and their sweet tea tasted spoiled and overly sweet... Sugar water really...very horrible
