We went to the Pangea Bar after an early movie for a drink and a relaxing dinner. The Pangea bar has been a favorite of ours for its cozy atmosphere and great cocktails. We ordered a glass of very nice wine and one of their specialty cocktails, which were both good and served promptly. We then ordered appetizers and my wife even told the waitress that we wanted to linger over our drinks and appetizers before dinner, but the waitress said that if we knew what we wanted, she would go ahead and take our dinner order. I ordered the Thai Curry with Pork and my wife ordered the Drunken Noodles. The appetizers came very quickly, but then our entrees came about two minutes later! We had hardly begun to try our appetizers when our dinners were delivered to the table. At that point we had so many dishes on our little table that I had to put some on the cushioned bench where I was sitting along the wall, so we would have room to eat. Both entrees were very good, but I did wake up in the middle of the night with a severe case of diarrhea. I don’t think I’ll be ordering the Thai Curry again, but I suppose it could have been the cold shrimp in the shrimp wraps. Not knowing of the impending bout of diarrhea that would plague me through the night, we did each have an Espresso Martini for dessert. They were excellent!!

Food lives up to the hype. Service is iffy bc of how small it is. It's pretty crammed packed mostly, but it gives it its personality. Loved the atmosphere and the pizza is great for Indiana.

Food appearances were ok. I ordered a sm sesame ginger. The salad had no ginger flavor. I ask for some dressing on side. It taste like sesame & horseradish not ginger. I didn’t ask for third. The pizza was flimsy was very disappointed. We also ordered a Detroit it was ok needed more toppings. It just wasn’t what we expected.

My food, the Thai basil dish with tofu, was way too salty. I also didn't realize it was an order at the counter, then sit, sort of restaurant based on the restaurant description. It was still okay overall, but it wouldn't be my first recommendation.

Loved the pizza and bread sticks!
Took a random weekend get a way with the family and found this gem of a pizza place. The food was amazing, so much so I told my husband next time he has a meeting in this area to bring home pizza!

This was my first visit after I stopped going to Pangea a few years ago after I saw Randy screaming at a barista at Starbucks. Apparently they lost his order and were trying to find it and comp it, but Randy lost it. The whole store watched him berate this woman at the top of his lungs until she ran away and got her manager. I couldn’t believe I saw him treat a food worker like that. She was older and he was physically bigger and taller than her. So it looked frightening to watch this big man scream at this older overweight woman. Even if they had made a mistake, you would think a restaurant owner would give some grace and not scream and demean a minimum wage worker like that. His restaurants have nice cuisine and this visit was good. But it was nice that no one was screaming at anyone, because apparently Randy thinks that is okay to do when frustrated. So I don’t know if I’ll be back. It’s hard to get that image of him screaming at that woman out of my head. Randy should know that when he is out that he is recognized and if he chooses to humiliate a minimum wage worker for a minor fixable issue that it reflects poorly on him, not the worker who was trying to be polite to him. We could hear the whole conversation and all the details! Because he was screaming! I’m sure he wouldn’t want any of his customers to start screaming at his workers and causing scenes in his restaurants and disrupting other people’s day. So maybe he should not do that in other restaurants. But the pizza was good. I don’t know if I’ll be back. I don’t want to support that kind of behavior.

This is my favorite place to eat because of the quality ingredients and consistent flavor every time I go. I always recommend Pangea to anyone looking for something to try in Evansville. The neapolitan pizzas are amazing - perfect crust and really fresh toppings. Highly recommend the pistachio pizza! It's unique and so good. If you're more of a Detroit-style fan, Pangea has you covered too. I love the Detroiter pizza - classic flavor and plenty of sauce.

The same quality and consistency across their dinner options is also evident in their dessert selection. They always have a variety of flavors for gelato, gelato cakes, and other pastries. If you're dining in, definitely save room for dessert! It's also my favorite place to go for gelato.

The wife and I stopped in knowing we may have to wait do to it being valentine's day. Surprisingly the line was short, staff were friendly and food came out quickly. We got a mix of offerings the pizza was cooked perfectly with light chewy crust and the noodle dishes were full of flavor. Finished with Gelato. The fusion is a great change and a must in the area.

Pangea Kitchen in Evansville is always SO good. From the pizza selection to each and every dish I’ve tried, always made perfect!!

Today I had Spinach & Beet Salad which are always made fresh — roasted beets, creamy goat cheese, crunchy polenta croutons, and a vinaigrette was next level. Easily one of the best salads! I could beets like this everyday! Ha!

Next, the Pad Ka Pao with chicken… absolute flavor bomb. Garlicky, a little spicy, packed with Thai basil, and perfectly paired with fluffy jasmine rice. Every bite hit.

You can tell everything is made with care and intention. If you’re even thinking about eating here, just go. It’s always one of my favorite go to places!!

Food was delicious. Atmosphere was a s fine. One really grouchy and loud patron. Manager tried to calm him. Staff was friendly. The Gluten-free and regular pizza was worth the wait and listening to the patron. I will stop by again next time in Evansville.

Always a packed house but was especially busy as everyone has cabin fever from being snowed in for a week!
We went for lunch and just as we got our drinks a table opened up. I ordered the absolutely amazing spring rolls for the table. We get them every time we come because they are just that good! Cabbage leaf filled with crunchy veggies and topped with their spicy pesto. It is messy but worth it! We were feeling like pizza this time so we had a large detroit pizza with pepperoni! So light with the perfect blend of cheese and sauce! It's one of our areas best pizzas! Food was delivered hot and fast! This is a fast casual restaurant so there aren't any servers but they always have someone available for things you may need. They are very attentive. Make sure you leave room for desert because they have an amazing selection of sweets. We split a slice butter pecan gelato cake and as usual it was decadent! Other items we usually get here are, thai basil chicken, thai curry noodles, Neapolitan pizza, macrons, gelato. All are absolutely delicious! We have had nothing but great experiences here!
Also, worth a mention are the owners other restaurants in Evansville: Pangea Pizzeria, in the same building as 2nd Language their Asian fusion restaurant. Their new place is in neighboring Newburgh and is Sazón y Fuego a Latin American inspired upscale restaurant. All are worth a visit!
