This is our usual go-to for pizza. Lately, the food has been subpar at best. On today’s order, we wanted to try the New York style crust. The photo on the website shows topping and sauce almost to the edge of the dough. What we got were two MEDIUM sized pies (if even that size) that had more dough than toppings and were cut by an apparent toddler. Before my coupon, the price was close to $50 for these tiny dough balls. I wish I had photos of them in the boxes before the kids got into them. Photos of a styrofoam plate with two slices is attached. Usually, one slice of PJ large pizza takes up the entire plate. This is unacceptable and we are sorely disappointed.

This location requires you to make a $8.99 purchase to submit your CARRYOUT order through the app. Used to get Papa Bowls but they are $8.49 before tax. So it doesnt work.
Theyre charging 8% tax for Carryout and 12.72% tax for Delivery & $5 delivery fee. Indiana sales tax is 7%...
This is scummy business practice from the owner of this location, whom corporate told me sets his local pricing.

Every time I order at this location they never have my order ready even close to the expected time window. Just sat in the building for 25 minutes while my food was done 4 minutes after I got there. Just watched it sit on the counter as they handed out 4 carry out orders that came up after my food was up.

I’m from Indianapolis and currently staying in Evansville for work. My coworker took me out for sushi at a local restaurant she recommended, but unfortunately, it wasn’t what she remembered, and we barely ate. Back at the hotel, we decided to order Papa John’s since it was late, and they delivered.

Let me tell you—this was not only the fastest delivery I’ve ever experienced, but it was also the best Papa John’s pizza I’ve ever had. In fact, it was the best pizza I’ve ever eaten from a food chain franchise! And that’s saying a lot because my family owned 11 Little Caesars locations in the Indianapolis area.

It was so good that we ordered it again the second night, and it was just as phenomenal. The consistency was truly impressive! I even called the store to share my compliments, and the manager, Dylan, was incredibly kind.

Thank you, Dylan, and your amazing team for the outstanding service and top-tier pizza. P.S. Please consider relocating to the Indianapolis area—we need your magic there!

Owner is too lazy to hire enough staff don’t order here unless you wanna wait two hours for a damn pizza. Too damn greedy to actually put people on the clock it’s pathetic.

I've ordered a number of pizzas from this place over the last 4 months while I'm in town on job. Now honestly papa johns ain't my favorite pizza but they deliver so there's that. Now the foods not bad don't misunderstand me ok. I've only 2 complaints and the first being if I order extra cheese they sometimes don't cook it long enough it's soggy but only sometimes not always. Now my big complaint, the pizza is almost never cut all the way through. Trying to tear and rip then cut it with a pocket knife on a motel bed trying not to cut through to the mattress is a pain. Outside of those 2 things I never had an issue. I've ordered 2 or 3 pizzas a week for the last 4 months so it's consistent.

On Friday the 6th of September I saw two of the pizza delivery drivers with toppers on their car and no driver doors on their vehicles.

This store is a joke, came in gave them the name on my order told me it was not ready yet that it was still in the oven, I saw an order sitting on the top level of the oven, they had me wait for like 5 minutes then I watch them grab that order on the top of the oven and hand it to me. Why they made me wait i don’t know, then would except my cash and said they couldn’t accept the bill. This place and the people running it are trash

They forgot a major topping on 2 different pizzas on 2 different occasions. Before that they would screw up little things. Like to say it was no biggie but it ruined pizza night both times. They made sure the price was right though.

Very rude management staff. No one there has been trained in customer service. All I wanted was to change the delivery time as their website malfunctioned. They refused to help me, stole my money and won't give me a refund. I spend thousands of dollars a year on pizza for my team and got hung up on when I asked for a refund receipt. I feel so bad for the young people that work there, they are being robbed of the opportunity to learn how to conduct business and offer customer service.

I tip 20% online, and had a $20 bill to EVERY driver that delivers to me, and now the Dominoes or pizza hut team is getting my money.

Takeout was delivered in the time expected, made as ordered, and tasted amazing. The garlic breadsticks were off the chain.

Papa John's may have done themselves a disservice by forcing people to order online. There are some of us out here that don't own a computer and if we did we would not do any monetary business online. Used to be a big fan of Papa John's for years but not anymore.
