I grew up eating at the original location. I was in town visiting family and had to have a Stromboli. It tasted just like I remember. Only thing is the sandwich is smaller but as with everything else. Other than that it was great!
We made a visit to Pizza King and were very happy with our strombolis. This is a very nice and newly rennovated restaurant of one of our long time favorites. It is very clean in this place. Their food is great and their service is outstanding. Everything is very reasonably priced. It is realky easy to find using Google Maps and has plenty of free parking in their large lot.
The long standing Pizza King located on Weinbach avenue, has moved to a new location. Next door into the former Hardee’s building. Guests can now enjoy their meals indoors in addition to getting them to go. On this day we enjoyed a Hawaiian pizza, as well as a rational Stromboli, along with a bag of bbq Grippo’s. The very thing was served fresh and hot. You can’t go wrong at the Pizza King.
