Since moving to the Northside, we’ve been told by many how great Pizza Oven is, but with a couple of chances, I just don’t know where they get their reputation! The pizza crust is thicker than thin crust, but not normal crust. The sauce is sweeter than normal, just off a bit. And the ingredients don’t taste fresh - like canned mushrooms. This time, I thought I would try the Stromboli and it was just as “off” and way over cooked, burned and hard. I had to start eating the meat with a fork. Such a disappointment 😞
The people that work there are very nice, but if they let the food burn, I can’t say the service should be 5 star.

The online menu said 10 for a whole Stromboli. I spent 36.42 on 2 Stromboli. They need to update the price. I will say it was worth every penny but if you think you will get 2 Stromboli for 20$ plus tax, you’re gonna be in for a great surprise. I’m not trying to be an asshole but they need to be more realistic with their pricing. Thanks

The OVEN SPECIAL pizza is awesome!!!! That's is the only pizza I get. I order over the phone and its usually ready when I arrive. The staff are always friendly. Definitely try a pizza from here you won't be disappointed.

This is one of the worst pizzas we’ve ever ordered. First, it comes in a paper bag and, once you get it home, the bag has settled on the cheese and gets stuck to the top of the bag. There is something off with the flavor, almost chemical like. The mushrooms are from a can (not fresh!) So, maybe the chemical taste is coming from an old tin can? The dough is super thin and virtually flavourless. It wasn’t cut completely either. We threw the whole thing away. Yuck.

Probably the best pizza place in evansville but I have a few more to try to crown the pizza oven but the crust will launch your socks i rate stars by surrounding restaurants
Stromboli was EXCELLENT. Added onion and green pepper to mine. I will be going back

Since moving from the east side over twenty years ago our family has consistently gotten pizza from Pizza Oven. I knew it was good pizza by a family owned business, but I never realized how good it was until after I visited Naples Italy in 2017 for three months. As the birthplace of pizza, Naples residents all seem to have their own pizza ovens at home and the pizzas are as tasty as any restaurant you find there. Coming home to Evansville I expected to not enjoy our local Pizza Oven as much but soon realized that they are one of the FEW pizza places in this town that can hold a candle to a True Napoli Pizza. Ordering again this evening for me and my husband and am sure it will be as awesome as always. Besides the pizza, the staff are all super warm and friendly, even on their busiest of nights. Once you’ve tried them you will continue to come back. Pricing is super affordable
