Oh. My. Gosh. We went here on a whim thinking of where to get sushi when my friend remembered seeing this place and wanting to try it. I'd never had a poke bowl before. The couple behind the counter were absolutely delightful, the food was DELICIOUS! the place felt very clean and my only complaint is the taste of the water from the soda machine. It must just be tap water cuz it has a....sewer-y taste (thanks Evansville...). There wasn't any music playing (just an observation, not a complaint). The art on the wall was cool. 2 girls came in to place a takeout order and (I assume) the owner's little boy ran to the door to hold it open for them when they left and it was so precious. Aside from the water, I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this experience! Delicious poke, really good crab Rangoon, very personable service, GREAT choice! Highly recommend!

Love the people that work they, they are so kind. Poke bowls are always so yummy. They one time forgot to put my tempera shrimp on my bowl when I paid for it but the next time they came in they recognized me and made sure to make it up for me.

Hello. If you get food delivery service for a meal, please pay for it. Drivers get no hourly rate. Most of the time, we only get one order per hour, and those orders are not even $10/ hour per delivery. We shouldn't be losing money to deliver your food. It should be $1.00/ mile with a $5.00 minimum delivery fee per one pickup and drop off. If you can't afford delivery, then you will have to pick it up for yourself. No one wants to work for free or drive their vehicle into the ground with nothing left to replace it. For example, this person paid $2.00 for their meal to be delivered 7 miles. The only reason I took the order is because I thought it was one pickup and delivery, not two, so I lost money on this order. Customers who do not pay for services will be permanently blocked from getting future deliveries. Both customers and drivers have the ability to block a person from future services. Thank you.

Also the service was amazing! The two people i interacted with were both so sweet! Also, most places charge 2$ for three slices of avocado and this place put half an avocado in my bowl. I was so surprised when I opened it.

I don't rate restaurants until I've tried them a couple times. After 6 wonderful meals..... my husband and I LOVE this place. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. Our favorite is the poke bowls. We ask for half the rice as we're carb conscience. The atmosphere is plan. But clean It's our new place now!

Genuinely the best Japanese place within like 50 miles. Worth every penny. I’m hesitant to even go to another Hibachi place because this restaurant has ruined all other Hibachi for me. No one compares.
This is the second time I’ve reviewed them with five stars. Not because I’m crazy but because they are just that good. They are incredibly friendly and always get my order right even through delivery apps!
The food is genuine and genuinely good. The takoyaki is worth a try, it’s absolutely my favorite!
