Really embarrassing etc…fake sushi ingredients, cutting corners with cost etc, sushi chefs are definitely new- rookie level, like the rest of Evansville service. I expect the same food quality/freshness every-time and service, and that never happens etc. Last time i had Lobster roll and regretted it… spent $35-$40 on a roll and drink, and also was embarrassed by the over-all experience/service. I just wont eat sushi in Evansville again…….They pose as a high-end hibachi and sushi Japanese restaurant, but fail to have those aspects at all to traditional Japanese…….and the only excuse is that: its Evansville…. The wait was a little stupid. But it’s okay. Definitely should expand the waiting area. Very crowded. Our Hibachi chef (cooked in front of us) didn’t talk at all. What a boring show when your chef doesn’t talk the entire time I would come back. Only if these things I listed above were changed.
