Went here for the 1st time and wasn’t sure at first but it was absolutely an awesome experience. The food was awesome, the portions were plentiful and the service was great. Loved how it felt like a small town place that had amazing food. Found our newest favorite place and the cost was not expensive at all.

Don't judge a book by its cover, most of the time. In this case, I was disappointed. The wait for our food was beyond reasonable even for a little shop like this. The eggs tasted like they were cooked in fish oil. The bacon was okay and the biscuits and gravy felt like it came out of a box. I'm not sure what happened to the fried potatoes. Coffee was good, and the server was apologetic. They have two different prices based upon cash or card, so travelers beware. Whenever we go to a new town we try to patronize the local places, but today's visit made me long for Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans or Waffle House.

Stopped in this morning and got the pork and dressing with the mashed potatoes and fried Okra. The Okra was unbeatable because it was burnt the grease was way too hot. The pork and dressing wasn't much better. It looked like they were trying to spread the pork thin and the dressing was more mush than anything. Had no texture to it and too much gravy covering up for the lack of pork and dressing in it. The coffee was luke warm at best and what coffee I did get had been sitting in the pot too long. Anytime you have to use 2 packs of creamer and it's still dark. That means the coffee is old and shouldn't be served. The only thing that wasn't that bad was the mashed potatoes
A little small old house turned into a restaurant..I walked in, stood there, no one acknowledged me.. I asked a customer if I seat myself. Couldn't tell who was an employee, i went and sat down. Looked like there was one guy running the whole dining room by himself. He was literally sweating. He finally made it to me, pleasant guy, he took my order, I got my food in a reasonable amount of time. Food was great, hot and fresh. Ordered a western omelet and a small french toast. It was around $13 a little pricey since I just got an ala carte omelet instead of the biscuits and gravy or toast that came with it. But it was good.... I would say maybe try to hire some more help. But I would definitely eat here again.

Short staffed, waited for 55 minutes drinking only water. Never got to try the food. Finally gave up and had to leave with a hungry child.
Got 5 people meal all done properly great service and food was perfect will be going back soon
