“I usually LOVE Cheddars! They have a killer family deal for around $30 that comes with a huge pan of chicken tenders with a large cup of dipping sauce. It also comes with your choice of 2 family-sized sides and 6 croissants. Thats my go-to pickup order. My husband and I were the only ones eating, so we just chose separate meals. Both of our meals this time around were not good at all. I only ate my sides (had to toss most of the country fried steak), and my husband didn't finish his favorite pasta dish (which never happens). I love cheddars, but had a disappointing last visit.“

“Some of the best food in the TriState area. Rotating specials offer something for everyone. However, in addition to great food, they have my mother's favorite waitress/server on the planet! Allison Moore is amazing at making you feel welcome and cared about. She goes above and beyond in her job performance and is accommodating and accurate with dine in as well as carryout orders. She keeps us coming back time after time. Do yourself a favor and not just dine at Hometown Roots but ask that Allison Moore is your server.“

“sometimes the waiters are slow and they take the wrong order. They are always great in the gift shop Sometimes the waiters are new ,so mistakes are made. No one is perfect especially when people are breathing down your neck waiting for you to do something wrong. Cracker Barrel has always been a great place to eat in my opinion.“

“Went through drive through about 6:00 CST in the evening. No line of customers. I was the only car in drive through. Looking inside there were no sit down customers. With that being said it took them almost 15 minutes to prepare a small order consisting of a sandwich, cup of soup and a drink. The potato soup was excellent. I got a BLT chicken salad. Nothing special. Would I go there again? Yes. I believe in second chances.
