Steak was terrific. Beware of the bloomin' onion. It's really good but it'll fill you up -- along with the bread -- if you're not careful.Waitress was great. Food came super fast. Really enjoyed the meal. And the baked potatoes were enormous.

Everything was fresh and very good.I had their catfish, as I always do, & it's still delicious!He had ribeye and says it was cooked correctly (med well) & very good.Our server was prompt, sweet, and checked on us the appropriate number of times - not too often as to be annoying & not too few that we were waiting on refills or our ticket.

Update: We did some sort of "reserve seating" (not a reservation, just kind of like a heads up type thing 15 minutes before arriving), and were seated immediately. The server was great. She was friendly, great timing on everything. Food was good. Wasn't a fan of the Onion Petals or whatever it's called there, but that was more of a personal taste thing than how it was prepared or actually tasted. The place WAS busy, and the food came pretty quickly considering we had 5 meals. Bread was also flowing nicely, which was a pleaser for my teenage kids. Overall, pleasant experience. I moved stars to 4 due to how well dinner ran tonight.(Past visit) The wait was ridiculous. Then we tried to ask for rolls, but our server was either too busy, or hiding from her tables. It took us about 15-20 minutes to flag down a manager to talk to him. Server was nice, and did a decent job, when she was around. She did not know anything about the beer on tap, and didn't even volunteer to go find out.

This has become my favorite restaurant over the past 3-4 years in Evansville, IN! They have an app that allows you to check-in and gives you an approximate wait time! When you live an hour away & you want to go eat during a busy weekend evening, the app check-in allows you to get on the list & have your name called upon arrival! Also, we have ordered nearly every entree on their menu and found each item to be delicious! Each item it well prepared and tastes fanonimal. When the restaurant is super busy, we never wait long for our food, it is cooked to perfection, and the wait staff is always superb! I just have one small negative to mention and that is their parking. They do not have enough parking spaces for the amount of customers they have come for each meal. It is always packed there and so many have to park at the hotel next door. I am disabled and can never utilize a disabled parking spot. This does not keep me from eating at the restaurant, however it does cause many people frustration prior to entry. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. A friend told me that the Texas Roadhouse in Terre Haute, IN, is just as excellent, I just don’t get up that direction. I hope this review helps folks decide to stop and eat at Texas Roadhouse, as you will definitely not be disappointed!
