This is a great upscale dining option upstairs from Comfort by The Crosseyed Cricket. They have a small but great menu of choice steaks and appetizers. It also has a full bar with great wine choices. The service here is excellent. The food was great and was presented as ordered. The restaurant is very clean. It is easy to find using Google Maps. Parking is along city streets but is free.Parking: City street parking normally easy to find.Wheelchair accessibility: This place is up two flights of stairs making it difficult to people wuth physical limitations.

Several people in the staff were there, we waited over hour for our food, which came out ice cold AND undercooked. I ordered the bacon wrapped fillet, medium. It come to come ice cold and absolutely raw with an extremely light seer…..OVER AN HOUR LATER. Not to mention the appetizer was cold as well. (We also watched our food sit in a tray on the bar for over 5 minutes getting closer to room temp)The manager seemed very prepared to comp our food like she knew something was wrong.Way too nice of a place to have such bad service and kitchen staff. If the food would have been worth the wait I wouldn’t be posting this.We won’t be back.

My wife and I met a friend here this evening. What a wonderful surprise! All the food was amazing, from the appetizer to the Filet Mignon! Evan, our wine advisor, helped pick out the perfect wine from their three page wine list. I highly recommend you give The Collective a try!

This place could be absolutely amazing with the selection of drinks and the amazing atmosphere and the bartender is amazing, but the food is not what it should be I go to alot of higher end restaurants arpund town amd this place has them all beat on scenery and LQ but the food makes them horrible especially when your spending $150-$220 easily one dinner for 3. Step your food game up you would be my go to

The server made me a delicious mule mocktail and we chatted it up about the area. Very good ambiance with friendly no pressure service. The French onion soup was the best I've had--no skimping on the cheese! The sliders were good, but the soup was the star.

The chef was out so I can only review the atmosphere and drinks so far, but if it tells you anything, I'll be sure to come back to try out the cuisine of this single chef kitchen. The service was excellent and cocktails carefully crafted. I had been looking for a place with a quality selection of bourbon, whiskeys, and other liqours. There are some but none I've experienced this grand and thoughtfully selected. Evansville has never been known to host many a small place with small menu and cocktails that cost more than a case of Busch Latté, but I hope this one stays for quite some time. The staff truly care about your experience, spend the time to talk to you and share tastes of new concoctions or rare whiskeys. I hadn't tasted any food but to see an open air kitchen with only one chef is a rarity especially for this "small big" town. The atmosphere is on par with any upscale place you would find in a much bigger city. Has an older style rustix feel with plenty of amenities and comforts of modern renovation.I will be back and I hope you come to. It's not common for someone to take this risk to put together a place like this in a town like this. I hope you'll support it as I will. Join me at the bar, first round's on me.
