You won't find better Latin cuisine in downtown Evansville. They have a large breakfast and lunch/dinner menu that accomodates those who want more authentic fare and the less adventurous. It's is a cozy little place with a laid back local atmosphere. The service is great. The owners are friendly. Food is cooked fresh right in front of you. This is our family's go-to when we're (frequently) craving Latin cuisine.

Great cozy authentic Mexican cuisine. Fair prices and food is served warm and fresh. Very friendly staff. Quick service. They also have vegetarian options, huge plus!

We enjoyed our stop to this restaurant. Try both the red and green salsa. You won't be sorry with either choice. The food was fantastic too

When I travel to Evansville next there is a 100% chance that I will visit this place again. The breakfast was so good that I decided to come back for lunch and that ended up being even better. It's too bad this isn't located in Colorado because I would eat here for every meal, every day of the week.

Best little spot to have a freshly prepared authentic latin breakfast dish. #5 Boricuas was so good, bites of fried potatoes with a nibble of sausage swipped thru my egg and strategically finding room on the fork for a bit of avocado..... Yes!!!!!! Delicious!!!! Fruit cold and fresh. Food extra tasty and loved every bite. Worthy of anyone's time to treat their tastebuds at this small downtown eatery. Service was very good, all around 5 stars.

Amazing food, & friendly service!! So many dishes I can't wait to try. Delicious! I wil be back alot!!!
This place offers delicious, fresh meals that are a little different. One great lunch I had involved a spicy dish cooked in cactus, but I usually get taco salad because it tastes so fresh every time

I'd give this six stars if I could! The food was excellent, on par with anything I've eaten in California. I ordered the pork in salsa verde and my companion ordered the pollo tres reynas. Both were excellent. The carnitas in my dish were perfectly tender and the salsa verde was mouthwatering. Our server was attentive and helpful, suggesting great alternatives when the dish I'd wanted had run out. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy, but this kind of food doesn't require atmosphere. The prices are ridiculously low for the high quality of the food. I wish I lived in the area and could go more often!

Deviated from our usual favorite Mexican spot to come give this a shot and was very pleased. Just a small spot with some friendly people and tasty food. My wife had Huaraches and I had Esperanza, both were full plates full of flavor. The other treat was the loaded up guacamole that we fought over the last bite. Would like to come back and try their breakfast menu and also a cuban sandwich, I haven't had a good one in evansville. $24 with waters and I couldn't eat another bite. Great value, great people
