Walked in to place an order around 8pm after deciding against going all the way out east for Five Guys. Big mistake! The diamond Ave location has some serious work to do in customer service. From the moment I walked in the male employee behind the counter was completely stone faced, visibly annoyed and seemed incredibly put out having to say a single word to me. In fact, he didn’t say anything the entire time except for a disgruntled 3 word response to my question about fry sizes. Felt both unwelcome and unappreciated for the $30+ dollars I had just spent. Fortunately, the food tasted just fine but it simply wasn’t enough to overcome the awkward and uncomfortable experience.

Hot and fresh food! Place was busy but our wait was not long! Friendly staff and great customer service!
So I have to say I LOVE their burgers. But the diamond Ave location needs to have a training session with their front counter employees on customer service. Everytime I go inside they are stone faced unemotional and don’t act like they want to be there. Tonight was the worst experience. I waited 10 min for him to acknowledge I was at the counter. I finally grabbed a chair and sat down in front of the register. I was tired of standing. When he finally came to take my order there wasn’t even an apology or anything. I continued to sit and take my time ordering just to annoying him back.And then there is a young child working behind the counter that barely looked like he was 12 years old. Aren’t their age limits for child workers? If the burgers and fries weren’t so good I’d honestly stop supporting this please.

The person behind the register had all the personality of a stump. He was in no way friendly, helpful or even courteous. The floor and table were sticky and there were no salt and pepper shakers on the tables. The food was unimpressive considering the price and they didn't even make my milkshake until after bringing the meal. (I would have understood if there had been ANY other patrons) They knew it was our first time there, yet did absolutely nothing to help or make us feel welcome in any way. I will not be going back and would never recommend this place to someone I actually like. Terrible
