It's fantastic. Literally the best steak I have had in years. Very very good. The atmosphere is good. The service is excellent, as well as the salad bar. Overall fantastic place.

went there this evening! spent 100$ for 2 people! very poor quality! food not prepared, as ordered, took back steak to recook to medium well, took approx 15 more minutes before they brought it back to table recooked! feeling overall was very dissatisfied! steak strip, 30$ baked potatoe very small, butter rancit tasting butter served with potatoe, had use butter from salad bar! ordered sweet tea....tasted like unsweet!!! geez! horrible experience!!!

Had their New York Strip steak. It was cooked perfectly and was the best steak I have had recently. The server Billine was great and attentive. The owners also stopped by to check on us. This was their customers appreciation special and was priced reasonable. My spouse had the steak soup which was great and I had their wonderful salad bar. The best in town.

Upon entry of this restaurant you may be caused to feel “below” the hostesses; however, don’t let that stop you from waiting for a table and going in to dine. The remainder of the employees you come in contact with while there will overcompensate for the foyer foolery. The table service is extraordinary, including constant removal of trash and/or empty plates. The salad bar is worth its weight in gold. The steak and shrimp excellent taste! Delicious sweet tea was constantly refilled. All this being said, go for it, make that leap from foyer to food!!

Ribs where dry, garlic mashed potatoes was ok but baked beans tasted like a can of pork and beans with some added sugar. This was my first visit here and I guess I had high expectations and they couldn't meet it. The price definitely didn't meet the prices I was charged and I honestly wouldn't recommend this place

Very good place to eat. Food was prepared perfectly. Our waiter was very polite and prompt. Salad bar was very fresh, cool and crisp. With a great selection. Menu had a variety, but at the same time was very simple. I had a great experience here. Would recommend to anyone. Word to the wise.... it is pricey. But prepared to spend 70 to 80 for two people to have steak.

I was with a large group and the restaurant handle us very well. Food orders were met as requested. Salad bar is a must with any meal. Such variety and was constantly tended to keep it fresh.
Amazing staff to start with. I myself manage a restaurant and I can tell immediately upon arrival that management is top notch. It is a little pricey but well worth it. You DO get what you pay for. Salad bar has fresh cut lettuce and every topping you might want. Dishes never have food debris like I see at other places and the prongs on the forks are not bent. I hate that. Staff is superb. Friendly and personable. Very quick to pick up dishes and bring refills. Steak is cooked to perfection EVERY time. Soup tastes like homemade. Chili actually has huge chunks of meat and beans that you can see, not mushy like its been microwaved too many times. Also has wonderful historic photos of Evansville. Someone has really put their heart into this place and it shows.

The food on the salad bar did not seem fresh. The bread was all stale. I ordered the smothered chicken breast. It was $18 and came with microwaved bacon. The cut of chicken was tough and sinewy. As well as dry and overcooked. I cannot believe this place charges the prices they do for microwaved food they take no pride in. I was reminded of Gordon Ramsey kitchen nightmares.

We went here and had horrible service and food was less than desirable. Our server was high on drugs. No question about it. We had a big party and all people in our party were disappointed. We had not been here in years but will never go back. A member of our party spoke to management but nothing was done.

First visit and wasn't sure what to expect. I am glad I came here the service is awesome. Very prompt and my glass of tea did not go empty. Warm bread with a garlic herb butter was on my table quickly and was very good. Salad bar was very clean and person was focused on ensuring the containers were full. This is the first salad bar where they had shredded eggs, not chopped, actual shredded eggs. Awesome.
