We stayed at the hotel nearby and this was the only Chinese restaurant. We didn’t expect much but the food was really good! The front guy was so nice. This is one of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The boneless spare ribs was my favorite

Our shrimp was cross contaminated with cashews, and my friend is highly allergic to nuts. Had to go to the ER. Don’t recommend eating here if you have an allergy.

Great prices, great portion sizes and fresh veggies, clean and friendly staff. However, the fried rice was beyond bland, and the chicken “strips” in it were so pale we referred to them as “anemic”. The wonton soup broth was under seasoned, and the sweet and sour sauce tasted diluted. It wasn’t bad, but I’m definitely not going to rush back.

New to the area, we looked for almost a year for good Chinese food in the area. Someone recommended China Garden, and we are absolutely convinced CG is the best Chinese food in all of Dubois County. Just removing the entree plastic covers and the steam rises, the food is that hot, and that fresh. No more soggy cashews sitting under a heat lamp in a buffet; CG's cashews in their entrees are crunchy! My wife really likes the crab rangoons. Takeout is always a breeze, the food is ready as said over the phone. Most often I will have 2-3 meals from the one entree ordered; great work lunch leftovers!

My test of a good Chinese restaurant is how good their hot & sour soup is...China Garden has AMAZING soup, to my tastes. The szechwan beef is flavorful, and so tender and fresh. An excellent meal for an excellent price!

I ordered chicken broccoli but got shrimp broccoli. I ate it anyway, it was good. One suggestion though. The plastic utensils are very cheap and they could use sturdier utensils. I bring my own now.
