I thought the brewery would be more a part of the church, but it is a separate back building that is the brewery. They have decent beer, but the food is just reheated frozen bar food. Overall we enjoyed the drinks but we disappointed in I guess what we had expected from the google photos… but we were happy with the drinks. I would return for sure.
Love the sister Mary kolsch beer. We also had the cheese curds fantastic! And flat bread pizza, wings everything was great. Will definitely be back. Great atmosphere
Nun's Dragon Stout & Lazarus Raising IPA both fantastic!
But it's the SPICY cheese curds that take 1st place. Be prepared!!! And the loaded tater tots were nice!
We loved the people who worked here along with the food and drinks! There are books and games and extraordinary hospitality- our family would highly recommend it.
We were so impressed with the kindness of the workers. In addition to supporting a very worthy cause, the restaurant was very family-friendly and accommodating.
Hospitality worthy of St. Benedict himself! The staff were unbelievably kind, above and beyond. The food? Excellent. Wings, fried guac, great brews… and a couple of free books from their little library for the kids to top it off. I enjoyed it so much, I came back again just four hours later. A real hidden gem.

Customer service wasn't great. Pizza was absolute slop and burnt.
Only had the root beer. It was really good.
We stopped on a whim at this cozy brewery. We had Dark Souls and it was excellent. Reminded us of the beers we had in Belgium. Definitely worth going off the beaten path!

Excellent beers, really good food.......get the Portobello's 😋 Vince is super friendly and knowledgeable!! We'll be back!
Great pizza. Nice ambience. Wait staff are fun. Samples are free to try the brews.
Our visit to St. Benedict’s Brew Works was a wonderful experience! Glenn enjoyed their Sanctimonious Stout, and while I had a Pinot Grigio (not theirs, of course), I also tasted the Blueberry Wheat, which was a nice surprise. They offer some bar food as well, but the real highlight is the stunning grounds they share with the St. Benedict’s Monastery, Immaculate Conception. The peaceful setting adds to the charm, making it a unique spot to relax and enjoy a drink. If you find yourself in Ferdinand, IN it’s definitely worth checking out!
The building and vibe is somewhat like a camp ground. Very unpretentious. Styrofoam plates and plastic forks. Help yourself kind of vibe. However, the food is very good. And the craft beer, of course, is the star. They do serve wine, locally from Oliver and another place, and some national brands.
AMAZING! All of it! Loved the food, prices and especially the beer!
