My friend and I ordered two burgers with home fries and everything was delicious!!
I loved when Mokey Hollow was there because they're my favorite wine and the food was good, but this place nailed it on the food!!

The hotel and room was very clean. Everything worked, lighting in the room was surprisingly bright, making working in the evening much easier. Breakfast was OK and included eggs & sausage along with the standard continental fare. Had to give it 4 stars because cups and OJ not available at breakfast bar, and the price is rather pricey for just an overnite stay.
My family stayed here for a trip to Holiday World. The room was very clean, the beds were firm, and the bathroom was modern with excellent lighting. The room did have an odor to it, but once we turned the air conditioning on, the odor wasn't noticeable. The breakfast consisted of a standard hotel breakfast that didn't have many options for those who have food allergies, but I assumed that would be the situation and had planned accordingly by bringing our own food. This is one of the nicer hotels in the area, and I highly recommend.
The room was not clean. It smelled like they were covering up smoke, spiders were in the bath tub, a half eaten chicken nugget was in the sleeper sofa and the sheets were stained and covered in loose hair. It was loud too, u could hear every door shut.
Booked room at the last minute for a great rate. (Much better rate on Choice Hotel website than any other sites.) Older hotel that looks to be recently cosmetically updated. Rooms very clean, decent size, quiet. Bath room nicely sized with large countertop. Shower good. The staff (and possibly owner?) were all very nice and very accommodating. Standard breakfast. Would not hesitate to see him again.
Great friendly staff. Very kind to my father in law who needed an accessible room. Clean and restful. The breakfast was very good. Definitely recommend. Close to the highway and many restaurants.
My children and I stayed here after visiting Holiday World. It was about a 15 minute drive from Holiday World. Please be advised that this hotel is in the Eastern time zone, unlike Holiday World, which is Central. You wouldn’t think an hour would make much of a difference but it does when considering check out and breakfast times. Our room was nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. Overall, it was a good stay.
This lower cost hotel delivered - clean, modern, and efficient. The only complaint is that the room did smell a bit smoky, not terrible, but it’s why I gave it an average rating overall. We stayed here because were making a stop at Santa Claus, Indiana. There is only one hotel in that town & reviews were not great. This hotel is 10 minutes from Santa Claus and right on the highway for a quick getaway. Breakfast included eggs & sausage and lots more. We would stay here again.
Hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. Room was clean. Breakfast was decent for being free. Pool was close to the room which was convenient for the kids. Close to food options. Weird how our cell phones kept changing from central to eastern time but the hotel was upfront about that could happen. Could use a few updates but overall a good stay. Close to Holiday World.
Wonderful homemade food, with great flavor combinations. The street corn dish is so yummy. The cook even shared the recipe with me. Lovely ambience and interesting history.

I had a great soup and sandwich for lunch - DELICIOUS!! and affordable too.? I would stop here to eat anytime I am anywhere close to Ferdinand:-)
Chose this place as it was close to the Christmas lights we were going to see. Usually this place is booked in the summers because of holiday world but not so much in the off season. Pros: bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Pool was open. Room was spacious. Staff was friendly. Close to stores and rstaurants. Cons: covid destroyed any chance of breakfast. Pool water was cold and pool itself was small and in need of cosmetic repair.
We were passing through on our way from CO to VA and stopped to see the convent and then decided to find a place for lunch. We brought our dog and two crazy kids and were able to sit outside in the shade. Our server was very sweet and helpful. The food was very yummy. We got sandwiches and sweet tea. Overall, this was such a lovely place in a lovely town, I would definitely recommend it to any of my friends.
Wonderful place for a great meal and homemade desserts. Wine slushies-Yum, Tammy is a great cook and wonderful person. Soup n Such is a hidden gem in Southern IN located in the Historic Wollenman house.
