Bert & Betty's is your perfect small town Mom & Pop type restaurant. Perfect comfort food! They only take cash or checks, but the prices are low, food is good and you won't leave hungry. Check their hours of operation before you go, because they aren't open everyday. Oh and they have a great choice of pies for dessert that you aren't going to want to miss.
this could be a five-star experience on any given day. the breaded tenderloin is very moist with a thin crispy crust. unfortunately the bun disintegrated halfway through making it difficult to eat. even so I'd give it 5 stars. the grilled tenderloin was so dry we couldn't finish it. french fries are nice and crispy; looked like the frozen crinkle cut kind but they were good. the onion rings have nice thick rings with a nice thick batter unfortunately they would not stick...
