My family have been going to Al Basha since it first opened. Today we decided to go after a little bit of time. The restaurant had one other patron, who happened to be white, at the time we entered. The first thing you see when you enter the restaurant part of the store is a sign that says find yourself a table and they'll handle the rest. My family sat in a table and the young man working there handed us our menu and mentioned that we would need to order at the counter....
Great food and customer service. My favorites from the restaurant are their cheese burger, Philly steak sandwich and both chicken and lamb Mandi!! From the bakery the fruit cake is the best cake ever!!! And I always get fresh zabiha halal meat from the butcher shop.
If you want a casual sit down place to enjoy authentic and high quality food then this place is a must visit. Ordered the dinner for two and chose the Baba ghanouj instead of hummus. First came two greek salads, all the ingredients were extremely fresh and it was sauced just right. Next came the pita bread with Baba ghanouj and it was ok, the pita was room temperature and not warmed up. Next came the lentil soup and it was absolutely delicious. Then came the meat sampler platter...
