This was my first time having poke and I loved it! I am a big sushi fan, and the flavors were similar, though the poke bowl is a whole different experience. The employees were very helpful and nice. I'm going to have to check out the downtown location which is closer to my house.

When we first walked in the man working was really nice... Shortly after another employee came out seeming really irritable and like she wanted us to rush and hurry through our order.
... overall the food was just really plain and boring... And I guess if you don't really care about health preferences as much than it might not bother you... As we learned in the Unagi sauce, there were artificial dyes amongst other ingredients that we didn't want to eat... Also, l was extremely turned off because inside the restaurant, in one of the booths there was a seat that had a ton of hair, strands laying there...
I'm not kidding. It looked like someone just sat there and brushed their hair all day and cleaned out the brush in the booth. Pretty disappointing.
I wanted to enjoy this place!

I am Japanese and have relatives in Hawaii, and I often travel between Japan, Hawaii, and Indiana. I had just returned from Hawaii recently, and the poke I had there was so delicious that I found myself craving it again. While looking for a place to satisfy that craving, I came across this restaurant.
I was torn between the marinated salmon and marinated tuna, but they kindly let me sample both. I ended up choosing the marinated salmon, though both were absolutely delicious.
The fish had no unpleasant smell and was incredibly fresh. I highly recommend pairing it with sushi rice. I chose marinated salmon and octopus as my proteins, and added sushi rice with spicy seasoning. Be sure not to forget wasabi, soy sauce, and seaweed at the end—it really completes the bowl.
Good octopus is hard to find, so I was especially happy with how tasty it was. My husband chose crab and marinated tuna, and the crab was real—not imitation—which was a nice surprise.
We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be coming back again.

Service is great, but food isn’t priced well. It’s hawaiian theme’d only in name.

Nice new storefront with a good ambiance, friendly helpful staff, but mediocre poke bowls.
Ingredients choice is solid, but I had a scoop of tuna and salmon. Both had a fishy smell + slight fishy off taste and neither were flavourful. It just didn’t feel like very high quality fish. There was a little too much sauce on my bowl as well, however the rice is good.
Fine spot to stop by for a quick lunch, but not memorable.

Food was good besides the whole end of a jalapeño being in my girlfriend’s bowl.

I ordered catering for 70 people from Ali'i Poke Fishers for my backyard wedding celebration. Our wedding guests absolutely loved the food. It was one of the highlights of the evening! It was very fresh and tasty. Because it is a build-your-own-bowl style, it was customizable so those with dietary restrictions only picked up food they could eat. It made catering for 70 people very easy.
We were impressed with the professionalism and service the Ali'i Poke team provided especially with setting up the food for the buffet. We appreciate the high quality utensils and containers they provided. Overall, it was an exceptional experience.
The original caterer I was working with stopped responding and could not confirm the order. So, 4 days before my wedding, I was panicking about the food situation. I'm so thankful that Nef, Manager at Ali'i Poke Fishers was willing to accept the catering order with eagerness, providing prompt communication immediately. Everything was confirmed within 24 hours. On the day of, the Ali'i Poke team delivered the food early and set it all up - with perfect timing - for the dinner buffet to be opened. The food table looked spectacular. Nef and his team provided exceptional service which allowed me to not have to worry about the food situation for my wedding. Thank you!

My all time favorite place for sushi bowls! They have a great selection, flavors are always on point, super clean, great prices, and the staff is always super helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys sushi! Been here a lot and it’s always amazing!
Overprice for a lot of rice and fluff, Had enough? Go to Ichiban Noodles only 10 min away right by Castleon. Best Service, Fish Quality, and Fair pricing. Would you rather be ripped off by a growing Franchise that has raised their prices on more than one occasion since opening or help a Small business owned and run by an old couple? Ex:( I can get A Water, Hot Green Tea, Hot hand towel, Soup & Salad, A bento Box ((6 pieces of thick cuts of spicy tuna roll , fried rice, 4 piece nigiri, and an orange slice, and still order another roll or 2 piece nigiri on top of that and it still is Cheaper with tip than a Large Bowl from this Mediocre overated place. Sorry fishers your getting ripped off.
Healthy, delicious, nice guys
So Good!! A must stop!!
