My husband and I tried Derailed for the first time. We made a reservation, but there was only one other table of diners, so it wasn't needed. The location is nice, and there's a large outside dining area. We sat at a high-top table in the bar. Our server was friendly and approached us right away. We had fried ravioli as an appetizer, and it was really good. It was served hot and crispy. I had a spicy chicken sandwich, and my husband had a tenderloin. The menu stated...
French Onion soup was excellent! Food came out at the same time after asking that the soup come out first and then the entrees. Tenderloin was overcooked. If I went back probably for lunch rather than dinner. Server was good and apologetic after expediter brought food out at the same time.
Zoey was a great server. She was there when we needed her and had great suggestions. But she wasn’t hovering over us. The food and drinks were great. I even ordered an old fashioned smoker after having the old fashion they have on the menu.
I know the owners are going for a different vibe but they need at least 2 TVs (55-65”) in the corners of the bar for sports and a 55” below the existing tv’s in the bar.
