Me and my family drive up to Indiana every year to spend time with family during the holidays. Every trip we make sure to grab some lunch at Prodigy Burger Bar. We come for the food, stay for the service. Sammy, a waiter at Prodigy Burger, always greets us with a smile and calls us Prodigy Burgers “Orlando Family” and makes us laugh every time we go. The food is great, the service is even better.

Greeted very quickly, by a gentleman who wasnt even a host, he was a cook on his first day. Warm welcome, and gave us menus to look at until we were seated. Such a Nice refreshing experience. Most People wont go out of theyre way unless its "their job" His Name was Tyler and was very Nice, and Polite. and if hes the one who cooked our Order , Well Done Tyler!!

We had a very good experience. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was great. We had the salmon (build your own) and it was nicely seasoned and cooked to perfection. Can’t beat the $5 kids burger meal with larger burgers and fries than most fast food restaurants!

This location consistently messes up our delivery orders. Things are always missing and it's impossible to get anyone on the phone, even during weekdays outside of busy times. The only time we were actually able to get someone on the phone, the manager said he would call us back but never did. It's a shame because the food here is great, but the service is terrible. It seems that dine-in customers typically leave good reviews, but delivery or carry out customers consistently leave 1-star reviews. It had been this way for at least months and it doesn't seem that Prodigy is doing anything to improve, nor do they care. They also took the buffalo chicken dip off of their appetizer menu and the only way to get it is by ordering a dip trio which is much more expensive than the original appetizer.

I do not recommend getting the lettuce wrapped burger. It was just a small hard piece of lettuce on top. The cheese curds were reported as good by my girlfriend. Burgers both sub-par.

We came to Prodigy Burger to give it another try and we truly enjoyed the service from the bartender named, Cayden, who was extremely helpful, patient and friendly. He is way better than another bartendress we have had in the past. He was so conscientious to make sure our order was correct and always asked if we needed anything else. We felt special because he was so kind to us and made us actually want to come back. Thank you Cayden for going above and beyond.

Stopped in for lunch one day and got there just after they opened. My son was on the verge of a meltdown and the manager noticed and help divert his attention by taking him to a gaming area. I appreciate little things like that as my son is on the autism spectrum and it can sometimes be difficult to eat out. Our server was really great too and helped get our son to eat some of his burger by offering a surprise if he tried it (cookies). Got the a kiddie burger and fries, my wife had a classic and fries, and I had a patty melt with loaded fries. The burgers and fries were delicious. This place went above and beyond for us today and I can't say enough good things.

Unfortunately I have to change my 5 star review to a 1 star review.Ordered a bunch of food for take out last Saturday. 5 minutes after I called in my order they called me back and told me that they no longer do wings any days except Sunday and Monday. There menu on the website did not mention this at all. A week has gone by and I am still unable to comprehend the fact that a place I have ordered wings from many times over the past year has decided that they only will sell wings 2 days of the week and they will only sell them for dine in customers. I guess I will not be ordering from Prodigy again.

The food is great but the kitchen is so slow! Over an hour for burgers seems excessive. It even took 45 minutes for an appetizer. This was our second visit, tired to give them the benefit of the doubt but we won't be back. The "arcade" helped keep my kids busy while we waited but that's too long.

The burgers ordered were all very good and the server was good. Although, watching the bus boy bus tables and then clearly seeing him and the host going up to the bowl in the hot window where the fries are kept and eating them frequently through the meal. This same fries are what we’re put on customers plates to serve.The paper towels in the bathroom were out and there was a bit of blood splatter on the top of the air drier in the mens bathroom. To top it off, there was a minor with their family sitting at the bar top.
I went for the first time today and the food did not disappoint! I'm a huge salad person (yes why come to a burger place and order a salad lol) but let me tell you the salad was great! I love their salad dressing choices (most of them made in house) one of the best salads I've had in a long time and a great kids menu. My husband also tried the Cuban and pineapple and pepper jack burger but unfortunately it was a meh for us. However the service made this place a solid four - next time we will try something else. Pro tip: the fruit here is so good and great brownies that are not too sweet and served warm and delicious.

First time trying this place. Torn between star ratings. The food was pretty good and the service was fine but they ran out of 3 different items that we wanted/had, on a Friday night. Strip mall parking and shockingly not busy on a Friday night at 7pm...we were thinking lots of carry out orders? Burgers were fine but nothing special. A bun upgrade from the standard might be good. Their basic bun reminded me of a fast-food bun. The French fries were really good. Crispy and light. Hubs said the chicken in his salad was tasty and no complaints from our friends about the egg rolls except they were small for the price. The boozy milkshake didn't really have much alcohol in it but tasted fine so I'd probably steer clear of another for 10.00.

From the time we ordered to the time we got food, it was almost an hour (order placed at 5:45 and it was a Sun and not busy when we got there). I understand everywhere is short staffed but it would have been a nice courtesy to inform us that it would be a longer wait time. I would have gotten a 2nd beer while waiting, but the server never came back after they took the order. I ordered the j*** chicken sandwich... hoping for a juicy, spicy chicken breast... not what I got. Didn't have much flavor and was pounded thin. My child got the chicken tenders. They were huge and mostly breading and over-fried. They did not like it. The manager did adjust our bill which was appreciated but the adjustment written on the bill said "customer issues". Not planning on returning.
