We were told that they breaded they own tenderloin’s. The meat was 1/16” thick. And when we told the bartender about it she acted we were lying. So we showed her and all she said was go somewhere else.Parking: There was just 4 people in there. That shows what kind of place it is.Wheelchair accessibility: Set up by the door

This is the story of a town that has grown from a population of 350 in 1963 to nearly 100,000 at the present time and a restaurant that has earned a reputation as one of the finest eateries in the area. Located at 7870 East 96th Street in Fishers, Indiana, off I-69, along the west fork of the White River, 16 miles northeast of Indianapolis, a thriving suburb with Carmel to the west and Noblesville to the north, Hoss Bar & Grill prides itself in home-made creations and traditional comfort food that brings hungry Hoosiers back for more. Open from 4 to 11 on Wednesday and Thursday, 11:30 to 11:30 on Friday and Saturday and 11:30 to 9 on Sunday, it is to good eating what basketball is to Indiana. My wife and I started with bowls of home-made cream-based Alaskan clam chowder with clams, potatoes, carrots and celery and chili made with ground beef, tomatoes, kidney beans, onions and spices with cheese. I couldn't resist the house specialty, the Hoss Horseshoe sandwich, a six-ounce Angus burger seared and grilled and served open-face over toasted white bread topped with hand-cut French fries, house cheddar cheese sauce and poutine gravy. My wife was very content with chicken parmesan, a fried chicken breast topped with house marinara sauce, mozzarella, asiago cheese and olive oil, then baked until golden brown and served with hand-cut French fries and brussels sprouts. For dessert, we shared portions of peach cobbler and home-made cheesecake.

I finally made it here and it was definitely worth the wait. There is tons of parking available in the lot that it shares with the other business in the strip mall that it is located. The place has a small dining area and a full u-shaped bar with seating. There are televisions above the bar area and around the dining area. You will find a pool table in the place and a 21-and-up gaming area. You will find patio seating out front and along the side of the place, but it was a bit too chilly to hang out there for me.It is a very trendy joint and my server was awesome. She was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. You was really on her game that day. The grill has a decent selection of craft beer, wine and some signature cocktails. As far as food goes, they have your typical bar and grill food including burgers, sandwiches, tacos, burritos, pizzas, and salads. I opted to go with their Philly Steak and Cheese, with a side of fries. I also got a side of their Hot Honey Brussel Sprouts. They have a secret kids menu with the standard grilled cheese, quesadilla... (just ask your server), but my little guy wanted a pizza, so I ordered a small cheese pizza to keep the peace. It took about 12 minutes for us to get our food and it was hot and fresh. I only got a half sandwich, but wish I got a whole one. It was very flavorful and tasty. The brusel sprouts were amazing. A very unique taste and really hit the spot. I highly recommend both. My little liked his pizza as well. He ate quite a bit of it, which was surprising. I really enjoyed my meal here. My little and I were very welcomed and had some very good food. I cannot say enough about the service we received. She was awesome. I highly recommend checking this place out. You will not be disappointed.

A wine-woman walks into a beer-oriented restaurant and....Actually she and her friends had a great time. I ordered a standard wine-KJ Chardonnay and the friends had a couple of Long Jsland Iced Teas. They travel from Speedway to Fishers for the Pickle Bread. And, while it's not my thing---it apparently was worth the trip!

Nice quiet bar. It's a good place to watch a game. The food was decent for bar food. The drinks were overpriced $13 for a small crown and coke and $9 for a tiny long Island that was mostly ice and had a weird taste possibly due to the garnishing. The service was good so I'd go back.

Yeah, will never come back here again. Walked in @ 8:59 exactly and was told they were closed. The bartender treated us like we were d*** and said that they close at 9. We said “oh, google says 11” to which she replied, “umm no, that should’ve been changed, our door says 9” we felt bad and were confused but as soon as we walked out, we looked at the door AGAIN, and confirmed that it said 11 pm on Sunday. I get that it may be a slow night tonight and you want to go home, but you don’t have to be rude and lie about it!

We were long time patrons of Sahm's 96th Street Grill, so I was curious to see what this new concept was like. We first went there in January 2021 and really liked it, and this was our first chance to revisit. We'd had lunch when we were there previously, but this time we just stopped in for a drink and a snack after an earlier dinner function. The on-tap Margarita was as delicious as I'd remembered - light and smooth, and sweet rather than tangy, and the pepperoni breadsticks were heavenly, like soft pizza dough filled with lots of cheese and topped with chopped pepperoni. The cheese dipping sauce was also very good.I'm looking forward to going back and having the breadsticks again, and maybe trying some other things on the menu.

We are in town for a tumbling competition and stopped for lunch and WOW!!!!! The vibe of the place is so chill and cozy! The food is amazing! We had our 8 yo who is sooo picky and even she was happy! The pickle sticks are a must have!My husband have the fire burger which was amazing! The pizza was also amazing I had Buffalo sauce with chicken and banana peppers!! My wife and I used to go here a lot when it was Sahm's. We liked the vibe more when it was more of a hole in the wall. They jazzed everything up, but also increased the prices and changed the menu a lot. Nothing in particular was wrong, just liked the place before they changed it a lot more. Also liked the old more straight forward menu and pricing.

I will say, we were hesitant when the menu changed drastically after the reopening. But I'm a Sahms die hard and knew it would all come together. I can now confidently say, they have their groove back. All your well know Sahms favorite sides as well as some Big Lug classics. The service is always solid and I'm telling you, the spicy garlic cauliflower is one of the best apps in town. It never disappoints. If you need your fix of summer fair food, they have the OG pickle pizza too. The crust was perfect. Buttery and crisp. My only suggestion would be that they really need to add changing tables in the restrooms. Being family friendly, a changing table is a must to keep families coming back. So happy to see they listened intently to the feedback and the menu is great, it was hard to choose a favorite. Can't wait to come back again soon.

Had a detour from our plans so we ended up hungry on 96th street... So we wandered into Hoss.It really hit the spot! I got a salad and two orders of their delicious smoked wings! A perfect accident I'd say. The wings were meaty and moist and the sauce was tasty! We had garlic parmesan on the side for one order and the special Asian sticky wings. I'm struggling to choose a favorite between the two but my husband chose the Asian sticky ones! We were happy to have stumbled in here and will definitely come on purpose someday if we're in the area!It appears they are bar scene but wasn't very scene-y during our mid week visit. However they had a good selection of beer, spirits and cocktails, which we did not explore on our recent visit. Maybe next time!

Wonderful staff and a cool atmosphere! Unique dishes along with all your favorites and a great bar staff to round out a pleasant lunch or dinner experience! Intimate dining or large groups they can take care of you!

Given wrong sandwiches made on the wrong breads. Only got a shoulder shrug when it was mentioned. No value for money. Menu uninteresting. Would not return.

My wife and I found Hoss about a year ago and loved it! Since then we have had carry out several times and enjoyed each one until tonight. They stopped carrying potato skins, loved fries and curly fries. We ordered any way for a carry out. When we opened the boxes the mushrooms didn't even look like mushrooms they were so small. The LARGE tenderloin sandwich was smashed paper thin and was smaller than the bun. My wife took everything back and asked for the manager (no one would answer the phone) and when she came out she said...what's wrong? If you didn't leave it sit in the containers for so long it would be fine. All of this with travel time was 20 minutes. Then the manager says, well this is not my fault! We finally got a refund but this will be the last time we visit there.9-16-22Between 7-8 pm
