JINYA Ramen Bar - Fishers

We’ve had a lot of ramen from all over, this place was a bit too much “fusion” for our liking. I had the original tonkatsu and my wife got the red (spicy level 6) tonkatsu. Both were just ok, the soup base was more soy sauce and salty than our liking, the noodles were meh, the chashu was actually really good. I’d suggest they add a low sodium option and also allow you to choose your noodle firmness similar to how it’s done in Japan. It wasn’t the worst ramen we’ve had, but we also won’t be returning as their are much better options in the area.

First time visiting this Ramen shop. Madison was an excellent server and gave great recommendations and answers all questions. She’s super sweet. Everything tasted amazing!

We were served tap water that was poured from a handwashing sink behind the bar. The water also tasted really bad.

Me and my spouse come to JINYA ramen all the time for good food and vibes. Absolutely by far our FAVORITE date night spot ever. Our server Madison was TERRIFIC!!! I hope we get her every time we come!!

Food quality has gone down and service could have been better - any request the waiter says I will have to talk to the manager. No autonomy or trust in customer.

This ramen is incredibly expensive, costing $20 for just two small slices of pork. I would expect more ingredients or more slices of meat. It’s even more expensive than authentic ramen in New York City.

The Birria Ramen GET THE BIRRIA RAMEN. It’s amazing! Fantastic service, atmosphere, and food. Highly recommend. :)
