Picked up a pizza because our favorite pizza place is closed on Tuesdays (Brooklyn Char) and I wish I would have waited until Wednesday because the pizza from Pearl Pizzeria was so bland I actually put flakey salt on it. I checked the reviews and thought a 4.6+ must be good but I was wrong. i stopped midway through the second slice because I didn’t think it was worth the calories. Just wanted to put a review to prevent others from making the same mistake. I don’t know how their other food is but for a place with “pizza” in the name you’d expect better. Thankfully I have a 15 year old that’ll eat just about anything.

Wednesday night Opinionation is a blast!

It was an off night for Pearl Street. We went to play trivia, but the music was so loud. You couldn't hear the questions and they only put them on one screen so you couldn't see the questions. The music was so loud you could barely talk. Our food orders were messed up and I'm not sure everybody got what they ordered. The taste of the food was great. And I'm sure next time it will be better. But if you're going to play trivia, I highly recommend turning the music down or if you want music don't play trivia.
Great spot !! The service was excellent !! Food very good !! Would definitely recommend pearl street !!

Food is great. The service typically pretty great as well. We were disappointed as they were not crazy for Mothers Day, and our waitress was not very on top of things. We did not get plates for our appetizers until they were nearly gone. They then gave two of our dinners initially to another table and then brought them to us. Then, she asked my Mom on Mother's Day with my husband at the opposite side of the table who gets the check. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's kind of of common sense to me on Mother's Day not to ask the oldest female at the table of adults. She paid without us knowing what happened. I was not happy. I'll think twice before we book a bigger table event there.

Food is not that great. Service is great. Unfortunately we didn't like the pear pizza especially the pear seemed to have come from a can. The cheese pizza was good. Overall wouldn't go back to this place.
