Very clean dining area and ketchup and utensil station because of this guy who was really good about keeping areas clean (don’t know his name but he was working the floor on 10/23/25 about 1pm). Order kiosks are an awesome way to help newcomers and speed up lines. Waited about 10 min for the food, which was not bad considering it was weekday lunch hours.
This place is known for its Italian beef and it did not disappoint. Ordered it single dipped and with hot peppers. Good portions. See pic.
Only negative were the fries. They’re definitely previously frozen but our fries were chewy like they had been sitting for a while.
For all those negative reviews for the hot dogs, try the Italian beef instead!

I ordered food last night from Portillo's in Fishers to be delivered from DoorDash. The order was confirmed and showed in preparation. Then I waited, and waited, and waited so long that FOUR Dashers gave up. The fifth one talked to a manager at my request, they gave a lame excuse that the order had been prepared and taken by someone else, which I don't believe because the DoorDash app shows when your food has been prepared, which never happened. They refused to prepare a replacement, so I canceled and DoorDash refunded my money. In my opinion, this is all on Portillos. I will NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. Not worth the hassle if they can't keep track of their orders.

Chocolate cake - it looks better than it tastes. I think the cake is decent BUT the icing is disappointing! It tastes more sugary and empty, than chocolaty.
Costco used to carry an awesome Chocolate cake, and it was better than this.
ALSO, I had their recent Salted Caramel Spice Cake, and I expected it to be decent. Unfortunately, it wasn't. Cake was dense and dry, and icing not memorable.
So I gv desserts a 1.5, only bc chocolate cake is okay.
Finally, Portillos has a drive up window, plenty of space to gather inside, and energetic staff.

The experience reminded me kinda like Service Merchandise. Stand in one line to just go stand in another.
Food was excellent, Staff was kind, not worth standing in two lines though.
