Rita's is a Philadelphia institution. So as a displaced Philadelphian, I was thrilled to find one in Fishers. However, in Philly, they call it Water Ice, not Italian Ice. All of the ices are great, but my favorite is mango. Try a Gelati, which is water ice and vanilla custard mixed together. That's my all-time favorite. There are always tasty frozen treats to have here. Mix and match your favorite custard and Italian ice for the delicious "gelati" or add a topping and have it all mixed together for a blendini. Whatever you choose, it's a nice change up from your standard ice cream shops.
07-Jun-23: We have visited two-three times since they opened this year. The kids like their products, however, they no longer (apparently) permit kids to write on their large chalkboard - which is one of the BIG reasons the kids liked it.
