Disappointed on second experience... beet salad was prepared incorrectly and had no beats, food came out lukewarm... service looked to correct and was good but will likely not return to this location ... shame ...

We ordered the special - a halibut dish - and it was amazing. Service was excellent. The restaurant became loud once it filled up; we will go earlier next time to try to avoid the noise.

The food was absolutely amazing, the crab stuffed mushrooms, halibut, scallops, and lobster oscar; it was all cooked to perfection and very fresh. The restaurant is beautiful inside, makes you feel like you are sitting by the water without actually seeing the water. Joey was honest, helpful and attentive!

So disappointed. Took 10 minutes to even get a server to our table for water. Another couple minutes to get a drink order put in. Drinks took ages to come. Food took even longer, we finally asked on ETA when the table next to us got their food before us even though they were seated more than 30 minutes after us. Three of the five of our orders were wrong. (One omelet was missing the requested turkey sausage. Another order requested scrambled eggs and got over easy. My crab cake Benedict had over hard eggs instead of poached). One of my friends ordered tea and the water was barely warm. We finally had to ask a busser for our check when we hadn't seen our waiter in almost 20 minutes. He had explained they were short staffed but this service was beyond short staffed. We won't be back.

This was one of the best meals I've ever had. Absolutely delicious. The calamari was amazing and the special of the night was to die for. Great service. Great

Hey Salt, I had a horrible experience with you guys, when I came in they sat us down and someone came and pour us water and didn't mention anything to us, we were sitting for almost 20 minutes and NOBODY CAME UP TO US, not even to ask us what we would like to drink or anything and there were waiters attending to tables across from us but nobody come to us , we felt so uncomfortable so we left and NOBODY said anything to us, this was the most horrible experience I ever had in a restaurant, you guy need to do better with customer service or I don't know if it's because me and my partner were black that's why we got treated so poorly.

For the life of me I can't understand why the rating isn't much, much higher for this place. The food is unbelievably good and the service is attentive. Highly recommend this place.

Definitely a return visit. The service was fluid. The hostess was pleasant and really genuine. The front waiter and main waiter were efficient and attentive. The sushi as an appetizer was well presented. The Chilian Sea Bass was prepared perfectly as well as the sauteed onions and mushrooms. I highly recommend the key lime pie. The finisher was a Cointreau glass straight up.Respectfully,Madam Ambassador Dr. NealyUnited Nations Peace Ambassador NGO ECOSOCDr. Angela J. NealyB.S., M.S., Ph.D.

ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR!!! I would recommend this any day. Perfect for almost all types of foodies; they have pasta, fish, steak, so much stuff! Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp 9/10 My brother and I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with blackened shrimp and I'd say it is delicious and perfect for pasta lovers, but just wasn't my craving at the time. Sea Bass 9/10 My dad had the sea bass. He said it was perfectly cooked, and he loved the orange blossom honey sauce. Scallops 10/10 My mom said the scallops were perfectly cooked and the lime tomato garlic sauce was spectacular. New York Cheesecake 1000/10 The singular best dessert I have ever had in my life. The presentation was so good. A raspberry sauce drizzled on the plate with whipped cream, a mint leaf, a raspberry, and blueberries. Bread 8/10 Pretty awesome, especially with the butter. Fluffy and light on the inside.

Salt at Geist is quickly becoming my favorite place to celebrate special occasions, take out of town guests, or meet colleagues for an after work cocktail. I've been numerous times and each time it's been fantastic. Service can get a little slow, but I've never needed to complain about anything excessive. It can also get on the noisy side, but that must mean people are having a fabulous time!

This was our first visit to Salt and boy it didn’t disappoint! Went in for last minute dinner plans with no reservations and the new manager Brandon and staff were so accommodating. On top of that, the food there was just amazing! Every. Single. Meal. We will making reservations from now on but definitely making these one of our spots!

Salt at Geist is open for Breakfast!! This area of Fishers needed a full breakfast place and it’s here. Have now been here twice for breakfast. Very good menu and service. Prices are also reasonable and in line with other establishments. Support local business owners!

Bartender was very good. Drink quality was top-notch. The food was excellent. I didn't realize that artichoke crab pot was a creamy appetizer. It was good, but I was expecting a healthier choice. Was good, but I'll save that one for when I really want to indulge. Ambiance was affected by the cold draft coming from the garage door being open as the sun was going down, and the refusal to close it after we asked twice. The exhaust hood make-up air, and total hvac system was probably not balanced with the garage door open. That could be so much air is going through and causing the draft at the bar. You will have a fly problem in the warmer months with the door open unless you install an air screen, which would also take away from ambiance. Other than that, we love the place. Otherwise we wouldn't bother communicating what seemed to be an issue that had an easy remedy.

I WANT to be able to give Sale at Geist a rave review. However, the service—or subpar level of service—is the biggest factor in play for why Salt at Geist will never be our first pick for dining out in the Geist area. The food is mediocre at best and the service is severly subpar. On every visit, we have have to ask for service or be completely ignored. We'll spend our $200:elsewhere, thank you.
