This is simply our favorite go to restaurant— Fantastic menu and great service!! Brando is a splendid bartender and always attentive!! Cheers!
Food was excellent. The service was outstanding. He was very helpful recommending things. We were not rushed, outstanding dinner.
Service was excellent, food was more than delightful. The atmosphere was unique and very nice.
A friend and I made a last minute reservation and we had a great dinner. Taylor was our server and we let her know we were sharing all of our food and she made sure our food was split was split in the kitchen which was a great surprise. Food was delicious as well
The service is excellent. They are happy and are knowledgeable in helping to direct you if you're having a difficult decision making a food or wine choice for your dinner ! Food is really great! And their specials are phenomenal and they change them often .
Excellent food and fantastic service! Definitely, one of our favorite Italian restaurants!
Horrible food horrible service!!
This was my first (and last) time dining indoors at Sangiovese in Fishers. I love their patio in warm weather and I love the Ironworks location, but tonight fell short in several ways. The food was good as always, but service was very slow. We had to ask what the specials were after hearing the waiter offer them to other tables, and we had to ask for a dessert menu at the end of the meal. Our waiter did his best but he seemed to have too large a section to cover adequately. The interior space was physically cold, loud and generally uncomfortable. Very different from my experience at Ironworks a month before and many other times.
This classy italian restaurant has beautifully prepared dishes with wonderful ingredients. I had the pleasure of eating here for a company Christmas party. I was fortunate enough to sample the mussels, brushetta, shrimp, calamari, and fried ravioli for appetizers. Each was very good, but the shrimp was top notch for sure.
For entree, I had the pan seared Mahi Mahi with a cream sauce and tipped with lump crab meat. It was amazing. I tried some of the other dishes but don't remember what the were.
Dessert happened very similar to the appetizers. We sampled tiramisu, creme brulee, cheesecake, chocolate mousse cake. It was amazing but imo, the chocolate mousse cake surpassed the other desserts with its smooth delicious flavor.
Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, food was great, dessert was even better. 10/10

I live off of reviews, but its not to often i make one myself. For this place, I absolutely had too!
Such great food! Service was amazing. And price point was perfect for what you get. They even had gluten free pasta which tasted so good!
We eat here all of the time! Great service and food! Jess rocks she really takes care of us.
Couldn’t get a res at 86st place for an earlier time so came here. Our waiter was wonderful, very relatable and most accommodating. My wife is avoiding many things but he served her a a great seafood dinner. My favorite Italian dish is a fruit di mare. Shellfish in a spicy garlicky soup. The menu said linguini fruto di mare, but after some discussion he brought me a pasta-less FDM and mucho warm fresh crispy bread and I was floored. I’ve had this dish in several Indy restaurants and in Italy. This version was one of the best. Mama Mia! Kudos SGV!
First let me say that our servers Emma and Dan did a spectacular job, our waters were never empty and Emma had no problem getting us a few extra things we forgot to ask for throughout the meal. It felt like we were well tended to without feeling disrupted. Second, the food was pretty good, I had the shrimp and spinach tortellini with vodka sauce, and we had a bruschetta to share with the table. The shrimp was cooked very well, not overdone as is the case at many other restaurants (cough, cough Olive Garden). The atmosphere of the place was super weird though?? The interior has this faux fine dining motif with industrial fixtures, black accented furniture, and exposed brick/overhead vents. This style is pretty *in* right now so it was to be expected. Although the interior looked nice enough our party decided to enjoy the patio seating as it was a nice evening and let me tell you the outdoor seating was very much lackluster. The chairs are these weird, cheap, and frankly uncomfortable plastic monstrosities and the tables had to be the cheapest they could find. The exterior patio furniture and decor was honestly something I’d expect to see at like a high school or something idk. It was just confusing because this place definitely has “finer” dining prices but and a more refined interior but were playing indie hits and had a flimsy paper menus that kept being away by the wind. So it’s like what’s the vibe here, should I be in business attire enjoying a semi fancy dinner with loved ones or am I kicking back with some college friends in an outdoor cafeteria. I’m not sure that they even know what their identity as a brand is yet. The last thing I wanted to mention in this review were the prices: they were a little high for the portion sizes and quality. I paid $15 for bruschetta and it came out as 6 slices of bread stacked on a plate with a too-small-bowl overfilled with diced tomatoes. Like it was good enough, but $15 good?? Not really. Like I mentioned earlier, they are riding this weird fine dining line where their prices are there but the quality and quantity of the food isn’t quite there. My entree was $32 and although it was good, I probably wouldn’t pay that for what I received again. Part of me thinks the flimsy unlamented paper menus are being used because they may make frequent changes to the menu/pricing. Overall, Sangiovese Ristorante, you were good, but I’m waiting for you to be great. I hope you guys find your identity as a brand and dining experience. And for transparency sake - we ordered 2 entrees, an appetizer, and 1 single Diet Coke. Our total was nearly $90.
Sangiovese in Fishers is one of our favorite restaurants. We dine there at least once a month. There are so many amazing dishes to choose from. Tonight I had the Halibut special (they almost always have specials) and it was outstanding!...Perfectly prepared and perfectly presented! My husband loves the lasagna and the fettuccine and I love the Ravioli on the appetizer menu and also the Salmon Salad. The staff is awesome...we have been dining at this restaurant for a long time and we have always had outstanding service from all employees. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed!
