We both had specials—seafood fettuccini and chicken with ravioli. Both were delicious, our server was so charismatic and attentive, restaurant was cozy and perfect for a holiday weekend date night. We love both Sangiovese locations!

The food was fine, very consistent . Staff was attentive, 1/2 price bottle of wine, made it even more enjoyable .

Food was as requested (which is always a nice place to start). However, the "Old Fashioned" drink was really not very good at all. That is my go-to drink of choice and I have had many at many different venues. This was one of the worst I've had. Server was excellent, pleasant and friendly, attentive without hovering. Noise level was high for a restaurant that costs as much as this one did.

Food was great with great service. Sangiovese has great prices for the quality of food we paid.

Was sat in a side room which should only be used for private parties or staff meetings. When making a reservation ask for the main dining room. We were sat in a boring, soulless side room which the restaurant really needs to do something with. An obvious downgrade from the main dining room. The bruschetta was uninspired and boring bread with a bowl of tomatoes, garlic, basil. The calamari was decent. Wedge was delicious add the pancetta. For entrees did the Linguinie Frutti di Mare was excellent and flavorful, the fra diavolo sauce was excellent. For dessert we did the crème brûlée which was good and the triple chocolate mousse cake which was tiny, much smaller than it should have been. Ultimately the experience was held back greatly by the poor atmosphere of the overflow room where we were sat in.

We had a great experience eating here the other night! My fiancé and I each ordered a different special and had calamari for an appetizer. Everything was great!

Food was very good. It was excellent. Our waiter was very good. He left us alone gave us enough time to make choices. He never asked us if we'd like another glass of wine, which I thought was strange. He did ask us if we wanted a dessert though which we declined. There was plenty of food. I don't like it when they don't put Parmesan on the table for us to serve ourselves. I don't like it when they put it on for you I just think that's cheap. We had Caesar salad and there was no dressing on salad at all so I asked for extra dressing and I got it. It was the food was delicious.

Overall an average meal. Pasta portions were extremely small for the $24-$30 price range. Service was good.

Had reservations but were put in bar. Which meant the bartender served us which would be fine but he was busy at the bar so it was very slow

We love Sangiovese every time we go. My partner and I went for our anniversary, and Omar was a great server!

Went there for Devour Indy, the menu options were great. We had a wonderful time and will go back.

Came here to celebrate a graduation in style and without the kids.. First, this place has endless class, the wait staff were polite helpful and patient. Our meals were extremely generous portions and the Tiramisu was heavenly, absolutely perfect night. Per previous reviews, this place is an authentic Italian restaurant, giving bad reviews because they don't cater for your obscure allergies the way you want isn't classy. You come hear for authenticity, and they delivered tonight!

I felt the service and atmosphere were lovely, but the food itself is not great. Very bland entrees and a slightly loud dining area.
