This place has an epic selection of tacos. We enjoyed the overall experience but one aspect fell very flat. Iün particularly receiving extremely cold and not freshly prepared side items (that were supposed to be hot).

Booked a reservation for 6:15. Had to ask to order drinks. Then had to ask to order food. 7:20 no dinner had come out yet. By 7:30 still no dinner.... Drinks were very good but wanted another and never was asked or saw our waitress. I understand with a concert they were overwhelmed. We came with a reservation and didn't expect the long delay in service or lack there of.

Not my first time there but brought a first timer with us, and she was very impressed and plans to come back with other newcomers. The guacamole starter is one of the best simple things on the menu, and the variety of tacos keeps me trying something new every time. Our service tonight was fine, not our best (seemed to be some consternation when we asked for hard-copy menus rather than scan the app, and some slight pushiness about getting our check even though we weren't completely finished and the place had plenty of open tables and no one waiting for a seat). But the food came very quickly (almost too quickly -- we were in and out in less than an hour) and we left full and satisfied.

To begin with we had to wait 15 minutes to receive service because the waitress for our table did not know that we were under her table load for the night. I had to flag down bus boys to get a hold of a waitress. The food was decent, but I found the sopa Azteca a little too spicy. the hush puppies lacked flavor, but were helped with a condiment. The margaritas are top-notch due to high-quality ingredients.

Service was a little slow but friendly. Poor guy was waiting on the whole place by himself, so we were patient! Food was good!

This is one the worst restaurant experiences I have had in a long time to fault of our server - she was actually great. Sangrita was highly understaffed considering there was a concert 3/18 at the Fishers event center. We sat down around 6:40 and received our drinks at 7:30, which is what time the concert actually started. I understand busy but 50 minutes for 4 cocktails is beyond my threshold of reasonable. I highly doubt I would go back to Sangrita after this experience.

I should begin this with a preface; I've eaten at Sangrita at least 10 times and overall, have enjoyed each time. I think, on the whole, they do a decent job operationally...unless they're busy. Last night was the second instance we had made reservations on the night of a concert at the Fishers Event Center. The first time, in November, was packed and a line out the door. It was chaotic then and we figured they would've learned/trained for the type of chaos the new event venue brings. They didn't. Fast forward to last night and though we had a reservation, it took more than 15-minutes to get sat. Why so long? Because they STILL don't have a dedicated hostess at the front managing the seating, rather a person that comes and goes and will check someone in when they happen to be to stop by up front. The sometimes hostess ended up seating us and some other tables in the overflow portion upstairs. No menus, no table settings, no silverware...nothing but a seat and a table. She said she was going to get menus/silverware/glasses/water/chips/salsa and would be back. Fast forward another 10-minutes and we still hadn't seen the hostess or a server. At some point, someone from another table went and procured menus from behind the upstairs bar on their own. At that point, we tapped out at Sangrita and decided to go to Verde across the bridge. All that said, the food has always been solid and the service equally so...when it's not too busy that it drowns their staff. Operationally, they leave a lot to be desired when there's a big event and that's a new reality for them with Fishers Event Center booking more entertainment by the week. We'll go back, but I'll make sure there's no event booked before we do.

Don't go night of a concert. Seated upstairs. Forgot about. Took entirely too long. They took too many reservations and did not have the serve staff to deal with the crowd. Terrible experience.

We waited 1 hour and 10 minutes before we got our drinks. Place was incredibly understaffed! Wasn't waitress's fault.

Would not recommend going prior to a show at the Fishers Event Center. We were seated and had to flag down someone to acknowledge us after sitting for 20 minutes. We ordered everything at the same time and then had to wait an hour for our food. Had to take our glasses up to get soda refills.

Food was ok Mexican corn was to sweet. Service was slow waited long time to order hard to get refill. They also charge you 3% extra on you bill if you use your card small print but I saw it. No notice BEFORE we order was not happy.

We’re from out of town, and made a reservation for four on Friday 2/28 at 5:45. We arrived on time, and the hostess told us it would be about a 10 minute wait. Sure, no problem at all.

We continued to wait, and observe people continue to pile in. The very young hostess was visibly overwhelmed as there was no seating available and it appeared that many tables were still waiting on their food.

Not once, but twice, the hostess had to go to the back of the restaurant because she was crying so hard. Patrons were crowding her, trying to talk her into skipping the reservation list, and just generally being rude and self-absorbed.

At one point, while the hostess was in the back crying, a patron got behind the hostess podium and said he was “taking bids on tables” while laughing.

We understand things happen, and places get overbooked by mistake, but the lack of support for that poor hostess checking us in who was clearly overwhelmed was infuriating. No one was helping her or attempting to provide her any type of support in a situation that was not her fault.
