At 10:30 pm the shake machine was down for cleaning. I could have gone to the place down the street for the same excuse. I could have gotten a lot more food for the price of 1 sandwich.

The employees here are fantastic. One was fixing something with the drink machine when I walked up to get my drink and she stopped in the middle and happily got me a drink from behind the counter. The one who gave me my food was just so friendly and came out to get my tray when I was done, making sure I kept my ticket for my drink. It was just excellent customer service. The restroom, however, was pretty dirty.

I'll never get used the post-COVID Steak n Shake. Just glad their food hasn't changed. Steakburger and cheese fries were delicious. Unique method of locking the soft drink machine. Do not lose your drink qr code.
If you get the lady at the drive through, expect to be charged for extra sauces, bad manner, and spill your food in front of you then still serve it to you. I’ve seen Down syndrome kids with more competence than her.

Only left a five star review because I was craving a Frisco melt and the location on 96th street was so bad and this location made up for it. Nice to know some businesses that actually care about service and the ones that don’t are quickly shutting down…welcome to post pandemic service
