Great place for breakfast coffee cakes for the holidays. Go early
Arrived around 4 PM and almost everything sold out. Had to go through asking if you still provided certain things that are Christmas items and found out that you did however, the way you sell them, serve them, display them, etc. has changed so much that it doesn’t have the special Feeling that Taylor’s Bakery always had. Cookies in plastic containers no longer weighed out and put in nice bakery boxes, yucky experience. No different than going to grocery store bakery. You need to change this or you’re going to lose everything that was special about.
Wheelchair accessibility: Nonexistent-no help at the door when I had a walker. No help out even though the door is heavy. Need automatic doors or something to help people carry things out to the car when she buys something and you are using your hands to use a walker. I realize you can be special for everybody, but you might even offer to have a sales person open the door when there are three of them standing there with nothing to do after you finish with your order.

Raspberry, orange, lemon, etc. are really great. We’ve also bought a wedding cake from Taylor which was just right. A great Indianapolis institution & business. Highly recommended.

I recently visited Taylor Bakery to get treats for my son’s birthday party at school, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The employees were incredibly helpful, guiding me through their wide selection of goodies and offering great suggestions that fit perfectly with what I had in mind. Their friendly and attentive service made the whole process enjoyable. The treats were a hit with the kids—delicious and beautifully presented. I highly recommend Taylor Bakery for any special occasion!

Store is clean with beatiful displays. Pumpkin roll was delicious! I hadn’t made it by here in a while but Christmas cakes are beautiful so i think i will go back for one next week. Employees were nice and friendly.
Parking: Busy but didn’t have trouble finding a spot and the way its set up you don’t have to walk far no matter where you park.
